  I think so! I accidentally activated my doll without equipping it and it seemed to change the map/ reduce some damage. It almost a acts like a totem. This will be something I'll test again, once again it may have just been my 214 defence.

  Price range depends on server. I don't know anything about Alexina prices but on NA I'm trying for 10mil for normal Support Puppet and 20mil for the Odd Eyed one.
  
  Beyond those price ranges, that depends on how desperate people are to get it. If it goes above 30mil then I'll probably decide it's not worth my time and I'll pass and just cuddle the one I have on KR.
  
  Speaking of which my Belisha Doll on KR is at 4/10 durability. Too lazy to repair but if jim here doesn't get the repair cost by the time I get home. I'll go ahead and look into it before resuming episode 4 of season 2 of the saga

  Sounds reasonable^ thanks for the input. After testing it, it kind of demystified some rumours about it negating almost all incoming damage (which is clearly false), so it may not have been the mega-hyped up op support puppet that some people were expecting it to be

  Can you actually verify that it can be activated without being equipped? Like screenshot for us having it summoned while showing your inv that it's not equipped? I'm merely skeptical since runes said it couldn't.

  Modded map is useless, it's not hard to memorize the very few spots where orbs spawn.
  But knowing where orbs actually are still saves time, especially in missions like Crag Cow.
  
  
  My question is if the puppet reveals the spots to you only, or to your entire party. Arat Berries and Demigod are party-wide, so if the puppet isn't then it's pretty much garbage.

  Eh regardless of the usage of mods, the maps may locate the general location of all orbs, but not exactly where the orbs are. So in the end I still wander around all the locations to find the remaining orbs. I would make the safe assumption that a majority of experienced players probably know the general location of the orbs like in shadow wizard HM like posted (and do similar things that I do and just go around the map looking for the remaining ones) think of it as a less tedious instant pumpkin pet that provides a location for your entire map instead of a small radius.
  
  Also- I believe it is an individual effect.
  
  How often do you guys have arat berries in your inventory or go into Demi just to find orbs?

  If it has an orb selection ability, I could never make heads or tails on how to get it to activate on KR. Also was having a hard time getting it to activate the magic shields when I actually wanted them.

  Ah, it seems like they either fixed it or I found a bug. Yesterday I was able to find the buttons without equipping it. So if you just activate it without it being in your inventory- I guess it just rots away the time. (Sorry about the spark of hope for this thing being a potential totem) On more of an optimistic news, I'm continuing to just randomly take damage and the best reduction I've seen so far is a magnum shot get reduced from 121-150 down to 27 damage today in Battle for tail HM. I'm still uncertain about the damage reduction.

  A Whopping 48857 gold per repair on it.
  As jim mentioned if you activate it but unequip it you will not benefit from the effects, so you're just wasting summon time there doing nothing so yes you will need it equipped if you want to see the orbs and mobs on the map.
  
  Considering that this exists on NA AND KR I'm going to assume that it may be a bug that devcat doesn't know about.
