Quote from Milk;1226470:
Wait what? why str huh? where did you get that it was based off strength?
Talent level up stats give Str and Will, enchants give Str and Will. (Unsure if ranking skills gives those.)
Note that talent level up stats mean nothing. For example
- Battle Alchemy gives MP and SP. It uses HP, MP, and SP in damage, not just MP and SP. (Though people may argue this means nothing because alchemy was given stat damage afterwards. There are other examples.)
- Puppetry gives Stamina and Dexterity. Of the two, only Dexterity contributes to damage. The other damage source, Strength, is not given form level up stats.
- Life skill efficiency is contributed to by the stats dex and luck, depending on the skills. Some talents do not give luck despite having gathering skills. Some talents do not give dex despite having production skills. Carpentry for example, ONLY gives Stamina, no Dex or Luck despite it possessing both production and gathering skills.
In addition, even if it does use both Str and Will, that does not mean it will apply to everything. Some skills may only use Str, some may only use Will.
All we have confirmed at the moment is:
- Level up stats give you Str and Will.
- Enchants that have Ninja skill requirements have been shown to give Str and Will.
This does not mean it actually uses either stat. That being said, its not officially out yet. (It is expected that it will come out three hours after writing this post.) For all we know, these enchants and level up stats might also change before being implemented.
Edit:
The way I see it, there are levels of information.
- Unconfirmed
- This includes theories and rumors. It also includes hopes and speculation.
- Preconfirmed
- This includes the Unconfirmed, but comes from a source that has yet to be verified as being relevant to the source (in this case, being relevant to DevCAT and/or Nexon). Preconfirmed is no more relevant than Unconfirmed. It can be argued there is no difference between Unconfirmed and Preconfirmed.
- Semiconfirmed
- Semiconfirmed includes things from the source. Being, data mining or word of mouth from Devcat and/or Nexon. However, semiconfirmed information includes only informations released before the fact. For example, if at some point Nexon JP said ninja uses Str and Will officially, it will be semiconfirmed if it was said before Ninja actually came out. Everything in semiconfirmed can be changed to Nexon's wishes. Everything in Korean Test Server is Semiconfirmed, not Confirmed. It will only be confirmed after entering the official servers.
- Confirmed
- This includes anything actually ingame in any server but Korean Test Server.
