I have been bored lately and I wanted to play a challenging game. I have done everything in Skyrim and it's too easy I wanted something more challenging.
Should I get Dark Souls II? If any of you have it tell me your opinion on it.

I'd say start with demon souls or dark souls 1 if you haven't played them yet.

If you play Dark Souls 2, Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 1 will seem very lacking. If you don't have a console to get Demon's Souls, just get Dark Souls. If you haven't beaten/played DK1 I'd never forgive you if you went right to DK2.

Depends on how suicidal you are. If the answer is "very" then yes, you'll love the game.

If it's on PC wait for a steam sale.

I've been playing it pretty much all day today and I'm enjoying it. I would suggest starting with Dark Souls I first, though, not because of continuity (well, not mostly), but because if you're going to get your feet wet, the first is a good place to start. The strengths of the first lie in a more intriguing world with more intricate and involved lore and better aesthetic design (in my opinion), as well as a tighter solo experience. However, the second is a pretty good follow-up that has greatly polished the co-op/PvP aspect; it also boasts more variety in viable playstyles. I'm assuming you're talking about buying for PC, in which case the first one is on sale often (even going as low as 5 bucks several times on Steam). If you do get the first one, you'll want to get the DSFix mod (as the port of the first game was notoriously bad without it), and you'll definitely want to play using a controller.
The Souls series as a whole is pretty challenging, not so much as a "OMGDISGAEMIZHAAARD" sort of challenging like 90% of gaming news likes to convey it as, but more in the sense that mistakes can cost you big. The game is really good at tempting you to take risks, which can either pay off with nice rewards (or just a lot of time saved), or when they bite you in the ass an arduous walk back to pick up what you lost. The best advice I can give you is to tread carefully before committing to something, because sometimes you'll have to fight for every inch between you and the next safehaven. Also,
not every note you read is helpful.

Play Dark Souls 1 first, Dark Souls 2 will feel easier than the first Dark Souls but they added a lot more depth/variety to new game+ in Dark Souls 2 and you have various ways of making the game harder if you so please in the 2nd title.

I thought the new DK was way harder than the first, on Demon's Souls' level.

/played Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 2, not Dark Souls
On topic: Buy it, you'll probably not regret it.

I would disagree. Ornstein and Smough death count: Probably over 100 just on NG. Highest death total on Dark Souls 2 bosses: 4. Of course its preference. Just beat it tonight, amazing ass game. You will not regret it unless you arent good at the game.

I think I died on Ornstein and Smough 20 times before actually beating them. I also played DKS 1 completely offline.
I haven't died to any boss in DKS 2 that many times but I have fought the majority of the bosses with help from other players and npcs simply because it was possible.
Also death in DKS 2 is a lot more forgiving considering the penalty for hp is gradual and effigies aren't too difficult to get. Also reviving after helping someone fight a boss stretches out the resources a bit too. The biggest thing has got to be the ring of life/soul protection which keeps your souls and human form after a death but breaks (costs only 3000/6000 souls to repair). Unlike the variant in DKS 1, while it does break, it is repairable.

If you do play dark souls 1 first, make sure to not rely on shields in dark souls 2 as much. Shields arent nearly as reliable anymore, thanks to guard break and the new "shove aside shield" that both do critical damage, and most bosses having a way to bypass shields. So you should learn as soon as possible to manage your equip load to be able to roll decently, and practice rolls. Or if you want to be MLG pro, you can parry, but that too is made harder in dark souls 2 (imo)

Never had any trouble with the babes (Orn+Smough) tbh. Only took like 2-5 time to beat them. I died A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT more in Demon's Souls.

I've heard it's a very good game, but very challenging. If you enjoy dark, challenging games, then I'd say go for it. :)
Never played it myself, but I have friends who love the Dark Souls games. ^^
