You guys know it's futile to go further, there's just no point, I've given up mostly myself.
It's like, no matter how much you criticize, concern yourselves, or give advice, it won't work, it just won't. Imagine putting speed bumps of common sense in front of a high speed train full of bad ideas, but the train has jet engines, and is going 10'000 mph. It'll never stop, the brake lever is broken here. We've been trying to push common sense into his head for 3 years now, and it hasn't done anything. If he's compelled to do something, he'll do it regardless, so if he wants to buy 300$ collector packs from EA games, he'll do it.
More money for the developers who are all getting laid off recently anyways.

Buying games from EA is a bad idea regardless of cost. :smoke2:

It does not matter if its Welfare or Disability. Actually if it was Disability they could actually cut you off. It can get your sister into legal trouble, and should quit when he is ahead. Either he does not understand, or he just does not care what advice we are giving him. Either way, if he gets his own sister in trouble, its on his hands, and before you know it he has to sell his games one by one on Ebay.
I have been on welfare/disability while my mother was around, it was not pretty. But i think im just going to give up on this shitstorm before i get grey hairs from the internet.
EDIT: Also i would suggest keeping spending habits to yourself. There are people who would easily report you to them if they noticed Bean Rua. Unlikely but i have heard it happening.

I don't preorder games often, unless its like a known IP sequel that I know they can't fuck up the game in any way. Like dark souls. [S]I make exceptions for everything nintendo/kingdom hearts.[/S]
And I only do it on steam where they won't charge me 20 dollars more for an artbook/soundtrack.

Thank you EA, you finally published a game other than sports that I feel no urge to buy whatsoever. Keep this up and you might be bankrupt and us gamers can finally buy good games without your broke ass forcing us to use Origin.

EAs problem (well one of them) is that they are using a F2P game model with P2P games. When Mabinogi says "Hey, if you want to win you should buy these reforges." it's fine because the game is free. EA -charges- you for a game then says "OH BY THE WAY, IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THE OTHER HALF OF THE GAME I NEED ANOTHER $39.95"

Or you can buy it through Steam, since it's an Ubisoft game. :V

1. EA isn't involved.
2. Origin isn't bad whatsoever.

Origin has a bad stigma from its early days.
EA is a terrible company. That stigma still exists and i will hate them until they refund my money back for invalid CD keys.
Ubisoft doesnt have prior negative stigma attached to it from my recollection.
I purchase EA games though, only on consoles though. Although i generally do not favor pc gaming anyway.

There was nothing wrong with Origin in it's early days either, it was hated by valve drones because EA was competing with Valve.
Also from someone who used Steam a lot about 9 years ago it was terrible and filled with bugs that took forever to fix.

So what if EA is a terrible company? That doesn't meant they're not capable making some great things
Tried contacting their customer support? It's actually great.

Season Passes
Skipping games on PC
Half-assing PC games making them unoptimized.
