I just tried to log onto mabi for the first time in a month or so, and my account is randomly banned.
I went to my email and it gave me a message saying someone has gained access to it, so I had to reset the password.
Since it is a billing ban, I am going to assume someone got access to my account, charged nx, and then disputed the claim on their credit or paypal and got their money back, banning me.
So my question is, will I have to pay anything or is there a way I can prove someone else got access to my account?

It depends on what the intent with your nexon account was. For example, if the account was used to abuse exploits on maplestory, that can result in a permanent unforgivable billing ban. You can always try to reason with them, the billing department (through email) will usually respond fairly quickly and not in an automated fashion. I've never heard of them lifting an accounts billingban that was executed for a chargeback without having to pay up, but you never know

You will have to pay them the charge back amount to get your account unbanned, assuming they gave you the option to. Like above poster said, it really depends on what caused the account to be banned by billing.

The Nexon site does have a NX charge/usage history you could check.

You would have to be able to log into your account to check. I cant log into any part of the nexon site due to the billing ban.

I see. It's pretty stupid that they even block access to your account info on their site. But it's Nexon we're talking about, so...

I'm banned from billing when I've never even used any other NX redeeming options other than cards bought from the store.
First time I ever tried to use Paypal it said I was banned from billing. I've been banned from billing since late 2010. Nexon is refusing to tell me why I'm banned from billing and they are also unwilling to unban me.

Finally got an email back.
Apparently someone did a bill-to-mobile for 15$ to my account, then did a chargeback.
That, or a chargeback occured from the last time i used the bill-to-mobile option.
2 years ago or so.

That's entirely possible. A few years ago I got a billing ban due to chargebacks from purchases I had made more than a year earlier.

It could have been much, much worse. Although the situation is pretty bad in general, I'd be pretty happy about only having to pay $15 back

Yea i am happy about only having to pay 15$ back, it still confuses me as to why the chargeback happened.

Well this kind of charge back can result from something like a younger person who doesn't pay their own cell phone bill charging nx using their phone number in the sly and then the parent who pays the bill disputes the charge which results in a "chargeback" and thus nexon blocking access to your account
