Best tactic to use w/Thunder: Group Thunder Barrage
1. Mages fully load Thunder.
2. Puppeteer groups enemies w/Crisis.
3. Mages attack w/Thunder.
4. Mages activate Snap Cast.
5. Mages load/attack w/Thunder.
You're looking at a fairly consistent ~40k damage per player. This tactic is very useful in the Martial Arts Competition.
