They aggro you before you can get far enough away.
No, they don't. Has never happened to me. You're moving too slow. And that's considering I've walked out of their aggro range with and without the help of the movement speed potions provided.
More lightning bolts in the ass.
Not only are you moving too slow, you're saying you can't take five steps before they charge lightning bolt AND hit you with it? Again, either you're standing around too long or you have a bad connection. Hit the orb, start moving to the next one.
Your NPC must be lazy as fuck, I have never once had a run where the Ogres were anywhere near the place they spawned when they died. Either by chasing the NPC around or by getting knocked around by it's attacks. Usually at LEAST 2 get knocked/run clear to the opposite side of the room from where I am meaning, guess what, you would have to get in range of imps to attack them. Firebolt can't shoot across a boss room.
Well, the NPCs in the missions are already lazy as fuck. I don't see what that has to do with anything. Firebolt can't shoot across a boss room, but it can shoot far outside of Imp range. Are you making your character french kiss the Imps or something? I'm really having trouble seeing why you're having trouble.
Nearly impossible to stay by "your orb" if the monsters move at all unless you've aggro'd all the ogres and they're charging you.
Step one. Charge near your orb. Step two. Move up close enough to fire. Step three, promptly begin charging again. Step four, reposition yourself while staying out of aggro range. Step 5, keep firing until dead. Step 6. Repeat steps 1-5. The key word is aggro range. How are you breaching it so much? Are you chasing solely after the ones smacking your NPC?
It takes ~5 seconds to kill all the imps without wasting any MP or HP and it insures I don't die. I hardly call smacking something for 5 seconds overcomplicated.
It takes two seconds to move out of imp aggro range. It takes five seconds for imps to aggro in the first place. Yes, saying "kill the imps and THEN kill the ogres" when "kill the ogres" is more than sufficient is what I would call overcomplicating things. It's really simple. Ignore the imps, kill the ogres. There's no reason at all the imps should be aggroing you as soon as you spawn them, and even less of a reason for aggroing them after. It's something you're doing that I'm clearly not.
