Why bronies are the worst thing ever.

  I never saw the older MLP I just assume it was like carebear which was uninteresting. G4 is a huge leap forward compare to that imo. Is it better than game of throne, or breaking bad? Heck no, but it's interesting enough to watch. Bronies make it sounds like more than what it is, but in reality, it is not that deep. It's a show with good action, interesting plot (sometimes) and good characters. Make it what you will.
  
  The problem is, for people who don't like the show, the treatment toward people who like the show is even worse than toward people who like regular bad shows, because the subculture of my little pony is outside of society's norm of appropriate age and often gender, "normal" people need to hate it in order to present him/herself as outside of the subculture.

  I am not immediately offended, but you're right, it's definitely worse than anything ever shown anywhere. Not only is the immedate topic not particularly laughable, nor is the comical attempt very well made. It seems more like its purpose is to offend than to be funny in a very grotesque way.

  If the source material (aka the actual show) is more similar to/encouraging of the good stuff than the horror stories, then the TC most-certainly has a point. I mean, maybe the whole problem is the phrase "the fandom". As if it was all one united, like-minded community of Pony hive-drones. It may not be what people mean when they use collective terms like "the fans", but it's what they're saying.
  
  I mean they're not the Borgies. They're not a "the". They're not really a "they". It's a valid complaint, IMO. If it exists, there is porn of it, no exceptions, but for some reason My Little Pony has become some sort of exception because... there is porn of it? Does not compute.
