Hello, recently all the delivers me or my family has been making haven't been delivered to our home.
First it was an order for dog flea medicine that my brother made that never showed up.
The second delivery was an order off amazon that also never showed up, I called and made a complaint and got a refund. The driver also described my house wrong saying I had a 6 foot chain link fence which I don't but my neighbor does. He also delivered the package outside the fence which sounded not that smart to me so I kind of just shrugged it off thinking someone off the street may have taken it.
But just to ease my worries I went over and asked and they said they never got any packages and that they'd let me know if they got one that was assign to us. I've never really talked to my neighbors so I figured I'd trust them this once, after all, I had no real reason to call them out on it.
Now it happens a 3rd time when I'm ordering pizza online and paying for it online. Never got the pizza, instead I called and got ahold of the driver and the driver said he delivered it to a house with a 6 foot chain linked fence. Now I have no idea what's going on and I'm not really sure what I should do about this situation. My patience is just about empty and I was wondering what actions I should take since I've never dealt with a problem like this.
Also I'm very sorry if this sort of post is not allowed on mabination. :whoops:

I don't know if that'd be the best course of action. xD
I guess what I'm asking is that if there is any legal actions I can take to stop this from happening?

lol florida
Well... first of all, you want to find out why the drivers keep mistaking your address. Is the street number plate on your house visible? What about your neighbour's? Is there any room for confusion there? Perhaps get a bigger plate, or reposition the one you have to a better spot.
As for your lame neighbour.. meh. I wouldn't bother taking any action unless they screwed me out of a computer part, in which case I would show no mercy. >:0

well if they're stealing your stuff then just call the police or something i don't see why that would be a problem

My address is on my mail box, I have a long drive way so I don't have it posted on the house. I guess I'm just going to have to remember to let the delivery company know the description of my house or something x.x I wish some people didn't have to suck.

That was my initial thought, but after doing some research I saw a few things about it not being their fault if the shipping company delivered it to them by accident so I thought I'd ask here and see what I could figure out.

But if the shipping company delivered the package to their house instead of you, it's still their responsible to let you know they have it and that you can pick it up, otherwise it's stealing.

It's still considered stealing
I'd catch them in the act and confront them about it reminding them that opening mail not addressed to them is a federal offense and is just morally wrong
If they accepted the pizza their signature should be on the receipt
The driver can point out the one who signed your (or if they're stupid enough, their) name on the recipt

So do I wait till I can catch them in the act? :T

Have your packages shipped certified return reciept.
Such packages must be signed for in order to be delivered, providing confirmation that they were delivered to a person and not just left to sit somewhere.
If your neighbors are indeed intercepting them, you could then have the signed ticket pulled- giving you hard evidence of theft to take to the local police agency. Intercepting the mail is a federal offense.

Okay, here's the plan.
First, find a nearby bush. Anything that you can easily sneak into and camouflage yourself with. Secondly, get a pair of binoculars.
Once you fit yourself into the bushes, watch your neighbors doorsteps carefully with your binoculars and wait until another misdelivery (this could be time consuming, so bring some snacks if need be). When your neighbor tries to keep the box for himself, pop out of those bushes, point your finger right at him and scream "AHA!!!!111".
BAM, didn't even see it coming.

Most likely unless the driver is currently willing to make a written statement stating they delivered to that house with a description of the person who accepted it
You could also set up a surveillance camera but it MUST BE ON YOUR PROPERTY (it doesn't matter if it's pointing towards their yard as long as your property can also be seen)
Also request for a signature with all of your packages so UPS and Fed-Ex has their handwriting on file for proof if this continues to go on
I ordered $600 in PC parts today and would personally kick my neighbors ass if they kepty shit from me

This is probably what I'll do, thank you and everyone else who gave advice; It really helped with the stress. ^^;
