I named after them
[Image: http://i.imgur.com/w9dBYAj.png]
also have a plushie in real life which i named after them and could probably give it a new name
they've made it clear they dont want to be friends and that our "friendship" was meaningless

Don't get rid of anything related to a person just because you're no longer friends! That's doing the same thing that he did, and considering the friendship having been meaningless! Don't you consider him to have been a friend? Then it wasn't meaningless! Keep them to remember "a good friend" you had!

i can easily buy new one or completely different pet to replace it
an ego you've been working on forever is not soo easily replaced cuz would have to start over from scratch

Or you can just keep it injured and hungry forever, summoning from time to time when you want to laugh at it:whip: Yes, I'm evil.

I really do agree with Elleanior on this one.
Splat, there's no reason to try and remove all traces of your past friendship. It might be better off to remember this person and besides - free inventory is always nice.

Agreed.
It's foolish to delete this pet.
1. You assign the symbolism to this object. You, not the pet, are at fault.
2. If someone that you cared for has hurt you, let this pet serve as a reminder of your injury. Forgive them in time but do not forget them. Embrace logic and reason in place of ignorance and petty emotion.

This has been the best thing I've read in a very long time.
