I see no reason to uncap skills. We are in no rush. (And no I do not consider the rush uncapping of Musical Knowledge to be a success.) Again, a skill being capped isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I still have no idea why this was capped in the first place.

Too OP with reforges, in addition to mana shield. Then again. Reforges didnt come out until G13.
I wouldn't doubt it if my satirical answer was true in the first place.

In the case of Mana Shield, Evasion and to a lesser degree Meditation all deserve to be capped until they can find good middle ground for the higher ranks (very good with reforges without being gamebreaking, but still being decent enough for a non-reforger)
In the case of Campfire, Cooking, First Aid and Rest, I just can't see a reason for them to be capped aside from possibly I guess for how they are obtained or in the case of cooking, what the cooking method for that rank will be. If it's the case of people ranking them too fast, that definitely won't stop.
I'm fine with capped skills...IF THEY HAVE A PLAN FOR THEM IN THE FUCKING FUTURE! Look at cooking, it's very slowly being uncapped, like with hero it finally got another thing done for it. Just a few more ranks to go!
God dang Meditation, evasion, mana shield, other skills I apparently can't remember right now... Seriously, do they even care anymore?
Mage update with the hero Merlin? "Oh thank Mabi, finally meditation will be uncapped again!" NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE.
Evasion looks like 0 thought was put into capping it in the first place. Nothing makes this really OP (Other than I guess reforges WHICH CAME OUT A WHILE AFTER IT) They were just like "Dude, let's cap evasion." "Why?" "Because it'll be funny." "Lol, kay."
I want one fucking director, JUST ONE GOD DAMN DIRECTOR to sit down for FIVE FUCKING MINUTES, and think about how to fix/change old content and better mend this broken ass story together. JUST ONE. We had someone show promise by updating magic and alch and exploration and cooking! But then he spammed the fuck out of new talents instead of looking over more old stuff.
Don't get me wrong, I love this game. It lets me do everything and become a freaking immortal god of "I literally give zero fucks" in the end. That's what this game set it self up to be from the start.
"But it was hard when it first came out." No shit, we didn't have easy ways to level, leveling took a hell of a lot more exp, and we didn't have talent stats.
It was a game that let you do everything. You didn't have to get locked into some stupid ass role for your entire life unless you made another character. I don't mean you get to rank everything up but only use x skillset at a time, I mean you could have one of every skillsets attack skills on your freaking hotkey bar and as long as you have the weapons needed, you could use each and everyone of them. That means that you have an unlimited amount of combination with the skills and weapons. Even more so if you switch weapons out mid fight/every other room. How the hell would you EVER balance this perfectly? You're not going to.
It's like someone playing a Disgaea game, maxing out a character in every way possible, then complaining there isn't any hard content anymore and that there's no challenge.
Anywho, now for a few other rants while I'm at it. I've already made my point, so here's random/useless crap.
"But this shit is too easy." What are your stats? Are they high? Are you running high level stuff? still too easy? Take off some of your enchanted gear. Stop using freaking reforges as you bitch about difficulty. "Don't tell me what I can and can't-" THEN SHUT THE HELL UP! They don't have to cater to you. No one does. Only when shit is legit under-powered, that's when you can bitch. Nothing's truly under powered anymore, so shut up. (Well cept range sorta...)
"I don't like how new players can just get up to where I was a few years ago within a few months." Okay? Deal with it, shit changes. They made it so you can get that far that fast so people don't leave this game after a few weeks.
"This content is so boring now!" I'm with you on this one. New skills are fun at times but...I've been doing shadow missions since they came out. I've spent the last 3 days just randomly running dungeons. If I so much as run one more mission, I'm going to just del the game and go play shity new runescape. (Yes, I am that bored/done with missions at this point.)
"Pet AoE is so cheap!" I just saw you use it a few minutes ago. Don't have double standards. I don't like it either at times, but I still nimbus. I RARELY use a summon AoE to get me out of trouble via stun/knockback/sleep. A few people rarely use summon AoE too. Some of the ones I know in game (not around here..at least I don't think any of them have accounts on here) that complain about summon AoE...WILL SIT THERE AND USE IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Level 20 = 2 second cooldown.
Basically infinite evasion = more skills dodge that it should've.
If evasion were to be capped, it's be 3 dodges, so even level 10 would suffice.
He was making a satirical statement, but if anyone used the utility of evasion, I guess it's useful. Still not sure about OP.

Thanks to Ironwoman we got some more translations for this next update and some of the following updates afterwards:
Quote from ironwoman:
You can view this update as an extension of the "Greenogi project". They're planning on implementing things like viewing of dye amp info enabled (like color code), dress room upgrade, partner icon added, title search button enabled, renewed loading screen tooltip, etc.
Like mentioned before, they will be implementing a hack prevention system, and following after the update, will compensate those who have been hacked within 4 weeks prior to the update.
As for the new generation, "Divine Knights", the focus will be on the "ordinary knights" who meet up with the Milletian and fight for Erinn. The chapter will consist of 4 generations, namely "meeting", "adventure", "war", "divine".
From August 13, the new chapter will kick off with "meeting". In the generation, the Milletian will be on adventure following the strange events in places in Erinn, and in the midst of feeling of loss, will meet up with the "ordinary knights", to get confronted with the situation where Milletian will have to learn the skills of knights in order to defeat a new enemy.
On the other hand, from July 31, a free chapter "castle wall's prelude" will be introduced. For a period of time, premium package, combo card extension, fashion tab key will be provided for free, and for those returning or new, there will be an event called "ultimate weapon giveaway". Also, similar to how generations gave AP and stuff after Genesis patch (?), the old mainstream quests will give extra rewards during the event, as well as an event for new chapter's prologue.
Go ahead and give Ironwoman a +1.

Finally a title search! Now I don't have to scroll to find my pesky titles!
... I don't like how people are holding our hand again. >.> Why can't we make our OWN paths instead of being led around so much? I can easily see those knights betraying us.
Again with "learning new skills to defeat this enemy"; that's pretty much what Alchemy, Fighter, and Ninja storylines revolved around. That's getting old.

When did we even get to do that? The closest I can think of was back in the old G1-3 where you had to talk to NPCs with keywords to try and guess where you need to go next rather than immediately being told to by a quest window, but that won't return, and most people didn't like it despite I did. I like the way G15 and G16 were starting to go, and partially Rush of Love Trying. Where choosing different options throughout the quest chain would slightly change events and rewards and you can't so easily manipulate what's going to happen, that made it more exciting.

That can be said about anything, especially with what little information we have yet.

Saga Episode 1:
Akule: "I'll help you stop becoming a demon!"
Me: "Sounds suspicious." *Is still forced to do Akule's errands*
(Later)
Akule: "Make sure to keep Millia safe at all cost!"
Me: "..." *Is forced to comply*
Saga Episode 2:
Millia: "Help me search for teacher, you bastard!"
Me: "..." *Is forced to go with her to Karu.*
Saga Episode 3:
Shamala: "We've got to search for Millia at all costs!"
Me: "Um, why?"
Shamala: "... Just cuz."
Me: "..." *Is forced to go to pointless places to find Millia*
You get the idea. No matter what choices we make ("Sounds suspicious"), we're still FORCED to help the NPCs.

I REALLY hope...that the 'knight skills' aren't skills we rank up. They rank up along with the story and are mainly for it and the generation boss. (Though with being used outside of it and things...) Because...I'd love that. No more "Oh here's these skills for a story that you don't need to rank to win." Cool. OR "Here's a skill for this thing you MIGHT need...unless you're really high level. Go rank it." But I don't want to...

Again, they mentioned that it's a talentless skillset. Meaning it'll probably rank up as we level up or rebirth, like transformation skills or demi god.

Not looking forward to this. There's still areas of Mabinogi that need filling in before they make more.

Magic Crafting, Shillien Ecology, Engineering, and Rare Mineralogy are also talentless skills. It could be like those where you have to grind them without any talents to help you
