C4, all of it, was just interested in killing off every last interesting plot point that came up in C1-C3 so that the bullshit that is saga could exist as the world's most soulless story. I've never understood why C2 gets so much hate storywise. It didn't negate any of C1's story, had somewhat of a connection to C3's, and served more as a side story to provide a cooldown after the major events of G3. I liked that it was dropping things to be revisited later.
There are a few things I did not like about C3, but all in all I thought it added some interesting additions to the storyline. Both C2 and C3 might have made me wonder when we would properly revisit some of C1's more prominent plot threads, but they never once attempted to undo them. No, that honor was reserved for C4. Remember everyone. Lughant didn't have some hidden agenda that he was using Cichol for in order to achieve a greater goal than the battle between the gods, as he once suggested when he asked Ruairi if he trusted him, which I remind you only happened after Ruairi started showing doubts when he learned Triona, who was to be sacrificed, was Lughant's daughter. Nope, he was just batshit crazy and wanted to usurp the throne in Tara. Welp, now that we've established him as 'crazy bad guy,' we can just kill him off and never have to worry about that plot thread again, amirite? Excellent storytelling that was. I mean, we got a tsundere princess out of it.
C4 instead introduces a lot more questions than answers. Also why'd people hate C2? I just found it too short but it wasn't too bad.
Lugh's thing is a humongous contradiction, doing the exact opposite he initially intended. Remember The Forgotten Legend of Fiodh Forest? It explicitly said he gave up his throne and quit for good, then in G3 he says he hates the name Lugh. But nope, he comes back as the thing he hated and wanted the very thing he kicked out the door. Yes, "excellent storytelling."

That's assuming Morgant really is Lugh and you accept his word without proof that he isn't lieing.
- We have no proof Morgant (the dark lord we see in C1 and G9) really is Lugh Lavada.
- If the person claiming to be Lugh in G16 really is Lugh. And if he really is Lugh, in what state of mind? How'd he get there?
Anyone can claim to be someone famous in a world where there is no photography. (Also, Lugh abandoned Ulaid kingdom, not Aleich Kingdom.)
Personally, I think answering plot holes without creating new ones is REALLY boring.

Lol did you see what I said earlier this page or are you similar thinking. (common sense)
I mean Morgant HAD actual reason to trick Ruairi, he went from a dark bad guy to an idol of Ruairi who changed sides to kind of trick Ruairi into joining the fomor side.
He had 100% reasoning to lie.
The sword doesn't prove it's him, for all we know Morgant captured Lugh and he was trapped away in Avon that whole time losing his sanity. Maybe he left because the gods were starting to feel threatened by his power (I mean he was a fricken champion) and so they tossed him into Avon like how Morrighan started to fear us.

Wait, so the sword doesn't necessarily prove that Morgant and Lugh were the same person, correct, and with how manipulative that Morgant has shown to be in C1, it doesn't necessarily prove that him saying (by denying the fact) he was Lugh to Ruairi. But how would you explain Triona. Why would both Morgant and Lugh go crazy when they lose her.
Remember, when Triona got kidnapped by the paladins of Emain Macha, Morgant led an attack by the Fomors to take her back, which eventually led to the events of G2. And the events of G16 happened because Lugh was manipulated by Bella into thinking she was Triona, and when Lugh found out that he was being duped, he went crazy during the climax of the story, killing several innocents before finally being killed himself.

I think it's some field boss event. Others on the team have encountered it but I was never able to find it. I don't really know, but it supposedly is a tank with a short spawn time that cannot be knocked down, countered, frozen, lullabyed, etc.
And you have to give Kristell items that drop from them.
I don't know if there's any story significance to stone bears.
Seems like there is according to this:

Also, new one-handed lances.

Oh snap, if that's actually a one-handed lance, maybe elves are finally getting access to some missing str.
Edit: Lookin' closer, that's probably just a rapier, by the way she's holding it.

Both Morgant of C1 and the person who claims he is Lugh of G16 are after Triona, that doesn't mean they are the same person. I will now speculate:
- Assuming the person in G16 really is Lugh and the Dark Lord Morgant is not. It could have been that Lugh was Triona's parent or guardian or etc, and she was kidnapped by Morgant and/or people whom Morgant is allianced with. Not Triona, the Brionac, nor the Pragarah can prove either of these two people are really Lugh.

My bet is on the 1h lance because I still think they might introduce a new ace with close combat/ knight/ cleric and it will have those 3 skills that were introduced. Ofc all aces have combo weapon and this once is a mix of lance and sword.

They're not planning on releasing aces, this new director does not like the concept of ace talents nor the ace characters.
It might be a Giant-Human-only 1-handed lance (that is pretty much the same thing as a regular lance but humans can also use a shield with it but not two handed enchants/reforges/crap). Who knows. As much as I'd love for the str gap to be lessened by giving lance talent/skills to elves, I don't think that's a concern of this new director. It's not that he's been against it, he just hasn't acknowledged it at all thus far.

Just wondering, why does he hate them so much? I for one agree that the Aces are stupid.

He said that the personality of the new knights and aces would be different, there isn't really hate.
Just consider it as a better flow to the storyline.

Or Morgant kidnapped from Lugh and Lugh was thrown into Avon and Morgant wanted her for the Macha thing but ended up getting attached like Ruairi did.
Him like Triona doesn't prove he's Lugh anymore than it proves Ruairi is Lugh.

That doesn't answer my question though.
