Personal favorite book:
Le Comte De Monte Cristo, when I was little I read it and was fascinated by Edmond's wealth and power, the things he could do. As I grew older, I came to understand the deeper meaning behind that book, how clever it is to first kill off the person who was least sinned. When I thought about it, I originally thought it was unfair that the snake who was most responsible lived, but one day it just hit me, he lived because the Count finally learned the meaning of forgiveness, revenge didn't provide Edmond with anything, even after those who wronged him died he didn't feel better, he was carrying out a mission in the name of god. Only in the end when he forgives Danglars he was able to be happy again and accept Haydee's love.

What country are you from? I know that every child in America knows this song but I'm not sure if it's a worldwide thing.
Few thousand miles away, across the Atlantic Ocean. I'll let you guess/ think where that is.

Sailor Moon manga.
But I also really enjoyed Warriors series written by Erin Hunter.
Watched the anime, never read the manga.
Never heard of the book but, I'll check it out.
Quote from Izaya;1237621:
Really? You never heard of that silly rhyme? owo That's stuff I heard since elementary school. Not towards me... y'know... but I have heard people use it on others..:gloom2:
Too bad, if only I have known the rhyme I would've used most of the time.

I was reading A Halflings Gem by R.A Salvatore.
Then i stopped. Got bored
This happens to me as well but, I always go back to finish books before reading another.
Unless it's a manga.

Fine English lady.
And I'm surprised to see someone else who's not into Star Wars. Never cared much for it myself. I've seen one of the movies when I was a kid, but thinking back, the characters in it looked pretty dumb. I don't think I could get into something like that now. :(

As a kid I was forced to see the star wars movies. Did not like them at all. Saw the first of the new ones, that was even worse.

@Chise that's even worst, being forced.
Wait, what?
Now I'm officially lost.

Last time i read a book and liked it was in high school.
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
I chose it because we needed a book of certain length, and the longer the book, the more extra credit. The only other book with higher length was Gone With the Wind, and i dived into a good 50 pages before i gave up on it.

Don't give up, finish it no matter how boring it is.
Reminds me of "Of Mice and Men", first line I'm ready to fall asleep.
I read it the second time, it was actually really good and I understand what's going on the book.
I've also read Kindertransport, when I first read it I don't get/understand what's going on but now, I do get the stoty after re-reading it for the 5th time.

I'd rather read a book where I get the story the first time unless a book I need to read 5 times as often is THAT much more pregnant with meaning than any other piece of literature to choose from.
You mean this?
I recently started reading a book about amphibians that I bought months ago. Almost 1200 pages, 1/4 of which is the appendix.

Maybe at that time not really interested on the books,I have no motivation to read it.
Those are the only books I have that I haven't read.

10 years ago was the last time i read a book, and i no longer have interests in book for many factors.
