are you saying that tall guy are not strong?
since you dont have the indicater on your avatar I can't tell your gender but if you are a girl and a guy ever held your arm, the difference in strengh is pretty high. I have a pretty strong confidance in my fighting ability and knowledge, of course all of it would be pointless if a guy, most guys, were to grab me. Well I'm not weak enough to ever give them a chance to do so but the point remain. Guys(most of them) could easily brush off violence from a non-trained girl. All they need is the will to stand up for themselves.
of course if I could tell the girl is trained in fighting and could be a threat to the guy even if he wanted to defend himself(or if the guy obviously look weak enough to be beaten by her), I would probably act. I usually prefer to not help people who can help themselves. But that's just my mindset.
You seem to be going on about "strength" and "training" but I haven't seen you mention how the psychological comes into play in those situations. Just because its a big guy versus a small girl it doesn't mean or justify its okay for a woman to beat on a man, or that he knows how to deal with the abuse (specially if he was being humiliated in public?). There are a lot of people who simply don't like any type of conflicts at all, due to whatever reason or even a trauma, and its easy to bully them through fear.
Anyway, just wanted to point out that the mind is highly influential on those situations too.

I always said this, if a woman hits me a certain amount of times, my response will be physical. As in, i will restrain the shit out of you, if that doesn't work, i will call the cops.

Yes, call the cops so they will restrain you instead because of the same gender based opinions.

Pretty much this. Guys can't even call cops on women because the women will just turn the situation around on them.

fight back and if she calls the police you will go to jail
doesn't matter if you just pushed her away, you will always end up handcuffed in the back seat

Quote from Brynn;1238220:
Sexism is a lot more than abuse inequality. I honestly don't believe the 40% thing.
It could be higher or lower depending on how you define it. 40% refers to men who have faced domestic abuse at some point in their lives. Feminists counter this number by saying that unlike women, men don't face repeated violence (sounds like mostly BS to me) and that many of those abused men are in same-sex relationships, so the actual fraction of men facing domestic violence from women is far lower. This, of course, is not consistent with research showing that women hit more often (though not as hard) as men, compared to men. There's also the issue of men not reporting crimes committed against them by women due to social pressures.
tl;dr: Don't focus on that number, but rather at the experiment in the video itself.

Problem. Gender roles.
Solution, cameras.
Or not going near crazy women and telling them to get the fuck out of my house.
Contingency plans.

Buying cameras diverts funds that would be better spent otherwise.
In the end the bruises will tell the real story. Unless you don't hit her and she hits herself afterwards...

I wouldn't have cameras just for that sole reason, I grew up with a particularly shady mother who would claim she didn't pawn off some of my possessions and that i mysteriously misplaced them.
Thanks paranoia!

He managed to film the situation at the right time, he couldn't even lift a finger to protect himself and he had to stand up to her abuse for a couple minutes just to prove he was a victim AND not to mention, people still commented on how he wasn't a man because he didn't defend himself plus other similar bs. I mean he got out of it in the best possible scenario but people still couldn't grasp the situation about what this case really means about abuse.
And this is just one notable case which is why it was singled out. It just proves that there are many others where poor judgement was passed and the male was determined to be the aggressor instead of the victim otherwise we'd be hearing more about female on male abuse.

Don't forget the cops abused him too before showing video proof.

This reminds me of something I was thinking about recently.
A couple of years ago, in high school, my one friend and I were talking. I was in a very bad mood, and I hit him in my anger. Him being him, didn't want to get me in trouble, and didn't tell anybody else. (Or maybe he was too terrified to? I don't know.) Later in the day, after I had calmed down, I begged him to hit me back, to make me feel better about it. Even if it was just a little punch. He refused to, saying that "I can't hit you because you're a girl", even though I hit him first. I don't believe in feminism, or anything like that. I believe in karma. I believe that actions have consequences, and that if you injure someone else, then you've got something coming your way. It took several minutes of me begging him to hit me to help alleviate my guilt, before he finally poked me. I had to hit him back harder, shouting that he had to learn to be confident for himself, before he finally agreed to. He was almost caught by a teacher for being rough "to a girl" until I explained that that was fair compensation for me having hit him earlier. I got the blame for it, and I was the one who should have gotten blamed.
I always get pissed when people refuse to attack somebody because of gender. My one other friend doesn't give a shit about gender, he'll roughhouse you just the same regardless. I've had some awesome sword fights and basic combat practice sessions with him. Kicked his ass with swords, got my ass kicked with fists.
