He managed to film the situation at the right time, he couldn't even lift a finger to protect himself and he had to stand up to her abuse for a couple minutes just to prove he was a victim AND not to mention, people still commented on how he wasn't a man because he didn't defend himself plus other similar bs. I mean he got out of it in the best possible scenario but people still couldn't grasp the situation about what this case really means about abuse.
And this is just one notable case which is why it was singled out. It just proves that there are many others where poor judgement was passed and the male was determined to be the aggressor instead of the victim otherwise we'd be hearing more about female on male abuse.
One word: cellphone. Nearly everyone has one.
When a confrontation approaches, the last thing i think of is a cellphone, which wouldnt help cases of thievery anyway.
