I think, haven't really tested it, but if you use shuriken charge on something frozen with IS, it counts like flame burst to that one mob and therefor "unfreezes" them. Something of this sort has only happened to me once though...

When you're in mid of shuriken storm animation you can't get knocked

When you are getting hit by flame burst you can still use kunai storm and charging shuriken. Just tap for charging shuriken.

I tried to smash w/ shuriken on a blinker, it wouldn't hit it. So, it only works with select monsters?
It seems to be this way. I've only ever tried at white dragon.

I didn't even realize that. Sick.
also I don't want to add it to the original post, but almost everyone is aware of this now, you can use shuriken charge mid smash and it cancels the animation entirely.

I've been able to do this with final hit once or twice as well.

You all missed the one where if two people use Shadow Bind on the same enemy/enemies simultaneously, the affected targets will become locked down permanently. They can still be attacked normally, but they are completely unable to move or act themselves. If the enemies are in an outdoor area, the effect persists even after they respawn.

I've never actually seen that happen...

Well it's not that "we missed it" it's that we didn't know. I've also never seen this, but I won't say it's incorrect or anything.

It's easy to do in the Nature Reserve on the plants. Grab a friend and use it together on the same one. If it loads lightning bolt (or fireball for the man-eaters) while being bound it'll be able to use it, but nothin' after that. Obviously, it won't work on anything that can't be affected by the skill in the first place.
Puppet's Snare, oddly enough, cancels this glitch and returns the enemy to normal.
[S]Nobody knew about this because you can't do it solo and that's how everybody plays the game nowadays[/S]

More like because everything that can be shadow bound dies in a couple seconds
Or at least, before shadow bind duration is over
I've been in many situations where simultaneous shadow binds have occurred

Shuriken Charge can definitely penetrate iframes if you launch without charging it. I use this whenever someone uses IS, Crisis or a mob starts life draining.

Since the secret is out, I will confirm that the whole Shadow Bind lock down thing exists.
The way to can reproduce this glitch may or may not work, as in further testing is required, but here are the steps I know as to how to reproduce the glitch.
- You need 2 or more people to do this glitch. -
1. Get a mob
2. Mob needs to aggro player 1.
3. Player 1 must shadow bind the mob.
4. Players 2+ should then also shadow bind the mob
5. If done successfully, your mob's AI should break and stop moving/using skills, if not rinse and repeat.

For interested, I did my experiment with fireball (Enemy Behind is perfect for that, esp. when glitched).
Attacks won't even launch at enemy using Life Suck, and they seem to be completely immune to damage even when fireball hits nearby enemy.
