The Fappening

  Someone was going to post about it sooner or later, it's all over the news.
  
  For those of you that aren't aware, late last night in an event being called "The Fappening" around 500 MB of nude photos and videos of celebrities were distributed to the public after being hacked from their iCloud accounts.
  
  Celebrities who were leaked include Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Victoria Justice and Emma Watson among many others. Apple is looking into the attack, trying to find out how their system was hacked and the FBI has already made statements that they are taking action. The reactions of the celebrities range from shame, to anger, to denial, to even humor as we can see from Becca Tobin whose reaction to being leaked decorating a Christmas tree nude was "Merry XXXMas everybody!" But needless to say almost all of them are eager to take legal action.
  
  Unfortunately for them they may be out of luck, as currently there are no leads on where the leaks are coming from despite the fact that they are still going on as of this posting with a notice that "another 4000 photos" would be out by tomorrow.

  Edit: Forgot to mention that proceeds from The Fappening are being donated to charity. Hundreds of dollars have been donated to Child's Play and to cure Prostate Cancer. So, I guess positive things are coming out of it at least?

  As do I. I don't even find most of the leaked celebrities attractive, but I find it hilarious they thought it was a good idea to put their nude photos in a cloud storage.

  But yeah, saving intimate photos to cloud storage is really stupid. In many cases, you give the cloud storage provider some form of ownership of the files.
