im not getting as much gold as i use to so i think the gold drop rate got nerfed or something?
that or hydra is not getting as much targets as it did few days ago.

Well if you are comparing this to a very recent time, like today, since the servers were down recently, there's no mob lag at the moment (probably not until tomorrow). a "few days ago" there was definitely mob lag.
If there's no mob lag, I would assume your hydra is indeed not getting as many targets as it was.
Otherwise, for the past month or so I've always averaged the same amount of gold per run. If I notice something off once mob lag starts happening again, I'll report back to this thread.

if by "mob lag" you mean them getting stuck in place then that's not the problem. I just came out of the mission with 410k~ which is a bit off. They were stuck but i noticed that after hydra kills a whole bunch of mobs, the next tick only affected 3 targets which is strange. It could be the reason why im not getting as much gold. On the day before server crash i made like 500k with 30mins left on timer.

If you're comparing now from the past weekend, it had double(maybe more) drop rate then

I was comparing to the day before server crash as well...
There was no double drop on the past weekend and if it was double drop i'd walk away with 1m as i walked away with 500k for the past week.
Also double drop =/= 2x gold drop.

Do you pick up gold manually? If so, it could have just been different amounts of lucky finishes or something. Especially if its only a 90k difference. I'm unfamiliar with how hydra works, but if you are saying nexon modified the way the skill works or something, I'm pretty sure they can't do that without a patch.

Actually. It's not just a 90k difference imo. I walk out with 500k at 1hr mark usually with hydra alone. Today i actually hydra'd AND shocked/kunai stormed during hydra cd which would net me gold faster but when the mission timed out i was left with 410k~ which is extremely strange.
Also i used 2 doll bags instead of 1 today.

Well it wouldn't really net you gold faster if you don't pick up gold manually (you didn't answer this question). Though the two doll bags instead of one does raise some concern. I'm currently unable to get into a saga 4 final that has stuck mobs, so I can't tell you if I'm experiencing the same problem yet.

that is strange considering you're on alexina... lol.
i do not pick them up manually because the poet hits me for 300 damage and usually, being the smart mobs they are, they follow up with multiple hits/smashes which usually kills me unless poet doesn't hit me. Also, it is really difficult for me to pick up the gold manually since the mobs move a bit and i usually click on them by accident. Right now all i can do is blame server lag since you mentioned that they did not patch. (i never notice small patches myself)

Okay so I finally got a channel with stuck mobs, and I was in it for a while. Unfortunately they reset the mob server or something and everything disappeared. Using math (which may be wrong) It seems I would have made around 405k after a full mission. Which has always been around my average gold accumulated per run. This brings me to my next question in terms of troubleshooting this issue: Do you see an excess amount of gold on the ground before you leave the mission? Like, right before you leave? I always, always do. My doll bag(s) simply can not pick up gold fast enough. Even after the reset on my current saga 4 final, there were a bunch of stacks of gold just on the ground. There's not too much that can be done about this, as doll bags run back to you after picking up each stack of gold. The only thing I can possibly come up with now is your characters distance from the gold piles may be playing a factor in how much you accumulate.

I guess i did not make it clear that yesterday, i left the mission AFTER the mobs despawned and the "mission failed" sign came up. Which means that i have in fact, picked up all the gold (it would be stupid not to). I will try again later on today and see how much i end up with.

Based on that, it would seem that you did have gold on the ground post monster despawn. I'm assuming that you mean you manually picked up the remaining gold after the mission timed out. That leads me to believe that your doll bags are picking up slower than they once were or something. The fact that any gold remains on the ground indicates that there were always piles to be picked up throughout the mission. Your doll bag would also have periodically not made any movement at all for a while as soon as it returned from picking up gold. If there had been no gold at all right after the monsters despawned, it would indicate that less gold is dropping, and your doll bag would have nothing to pick up, and therefore you would have made less money due to not as much gold dropping. Since you pick up with doll bags, the amount of gathered gold is limited by the speed in which they pick it up. You (and i) could probably make 600-700k a run (arbitrary estimation) if we had some way of immediately picking up all gold once it drops without the use of doll bags.
Perhaps your doll bag picked up gold stacks with less than the average max amount of gold per pick up, such as picking up all 500s instead of 1,000s or something.
To expand on what I said about distance (and I don't know if this math can actually properly apply, it's just a guess) let's say I'm at the maximum distance away kunai storm can function. I timed it, and on average, my doll bag summon can pick up a pile of gold once every 8 seconds. If I go right up on the mobs, on average, it's once every 6 seconds.
there's 5,400 seconds in the mission
That's 900 gold pickups if you are right next to the mobs, or 675 gold pick ups if you are at max distance. (note, this time will vary based on location of the gold pile it is going towards, and other forms of time delays associated with doll bags, so these are very very rough estimations. I wouldn't take anything used in this example as an actual indicator of how much gold you can get per run.) If you pick up an average of 500 gold per pick up (I haven't averaged the amount of gold I usually pick up), that's 337,500 gold if you are always at max distance, or 450,000 if you are always right at the mobs(and by you I mean your character). Of course, standing right on the mobs is pretty difficult to do, but I've no idea where you've stood, etc. This is a pretty significant change.
TLDR on that part: your characters distance from the mobs should play a huge role in how much gold you can pick up in total while using a doll bag.
Something to note is that I'm just throwing guesses as to why you aren't gaining as much gold. I'm not saying that this is the reasoning behind your missing gold, just possible ideas. I'm usually always at max distance from kunai storm, and my average total gold accumulated per mission is usually only a 10-30k difference.
Using a random number generator from random.org, and using those gold pick up total amounts (675 and 900) and generating a number between 1 and 1000 to simulate gold, the difference in values after one test came out to be 114k. Not that this really means much, but just thought it'd be cool to check

i am currently inside right now and i've noticed that hydra did infact affect less mobs than it use to.
notice in this first picture 10 mobs were affected by hydra
but during the same hydra
here, in picture 2 right when the first wave of mobs die and new wave respawned, only 1 mob was affected.
Usually every wave that spawns dies immediately once hydra reaches the maximum damage.
(proof that it's the same hydra should be in the the cloud in the air as well as the pots)
hence the reason i thought hydra got nerfed.
As for your distance theory, it is highly unlikely to be true because of the fact that i was using ninja/shock while hydra is on cd yesterday which requires me to stay as close to the mobs as possible (i usually run further away after i place hydra on my previous runs).

I'm out of ideas then. It's weird how you seem to have almost no gold built up on the ground after those kills. Not sure if that was early on in the mission or if you just aren't getting that much gold to drop, picked it up manually, or what, but after like 2-3 minutes there's a ton of gold on the ground for me, which, going back to what I've said before about how your maximum gold accumulated if you only pick up via doll bags, is how fast the doll bags can pick gold up. That's why I mentioned your summon staying at your side for a while as opposed to immediately going back out to grab some gold. Due to the cropped screenshost though, I have absolutely no idea how long you have been in that mission. If hydra was nerfed or whatever, it wouldn't matter so long as you kept a constant stream of killing going, and having gold dropped all over the place via shock and kunai storm. Unless you are getting less gold to drop, to a point where your summoned doll doesn't even have anywhere to go for some time. This I have no way of telling, though.
