does anyone else not care?
only treasure hunters can enter. only treasure hunters can get the notice.
it's not treasure dungeon discovery rate for exploration mastery, it's how often the minimap gets a little yellow triangle to pop up where nearby artifacts can be found.

Can you elaborate on the p2w aspect?
I haven't done much research on the new skills.

newpants wrote on 2014-09-12 21:48
you have to use up your pons and rebirth into treasure hunter to access any treasure dungeon.

[UB]I think he means the method to get exploration mastery in order to unlock these dungeons.
The requirements to learn the skill is as ridiculous as meteor strike, IIRC. It's much easier just to use pons to get the skill than go through all those statues. [/UB]

I believe he's saying that the Treasure Dungeons can only be entered if you are actively in the Treasure Hunter talent.

Allegedly; "This dungeon can only be obtained with the Treasure Hunter talent
or Rank 6 or higher Exploration Mastery using your L-Rod."

uh, alright i should of made it clearer.
i've reached r1 exploration mastery without seeing a single notice for treasure dungeon. that is while exploring all across iria.
with a friend i've seen one get uncovered. i tried to enter it, but it gave a notice saying only treasure hunters may enter.
-
Eos wrote on 2014-09-12 21:56
That's because only the person who uncovered it can enter, not because you weren't a treasure hunter.
Unless you uncover one yourself and it rejects you, or you prove you can't find one without being a treasure hunter, it's not pay to win.
-

of course you can argue that, but the fact is getting to r1 without seeing one notice at all is statistically ridiculous, assuming those wiki rates.
if you look at the patch notes, it only says treasure hunters on there, not just anyone. beginning at r6, you see the yellow triangles on your minimap, which makes a lot more sense from the wording instead of "chance to discover a treasure dungeon".
you can dispute it all you want, but then i should be able to ask for you to prove that it's not p2w.
by that, i mean find a treasure dungeon without being in the hero talent.

also, my friend in the talent was able to enter someone else's treasure dungeon.

Total bullshit. There's no proof about "Rank 6 or higher Exploration Mastery" that are non-TH can enter these dungeons. I have been searching through all the Korean Mabi community and I have yet to find. Also the official Mabi says "Those who are in TH can exclusively enter these dungeons", not anyone with r6 or higher Exploration Mastery.

KR testers says you need Rank 6 Exploration Mastery to find/enter. I'm sure that's where Wiki pulled their information from.

You realize Nexon's been incorrect on many occasions?

An utter bullshit. I've been finding this info "Rank 6 or above Exploration Mastery" that are non-TH talent to find/enter those dungeons and I have yet to find ANY info about it in every Korean Mabi community. The KR testers are wrong for this one and in fact, the Mabi Officials have clearly said these TH dungeons are only find/enterable by those who are already in TH talent.
Back to the topic, I dunno why you would call it "p2w" for this dungeon, because you can still rank up Exploration Mastery even without stepping into a TH dungeon (unless you are aiming for that master title). The rewards are terrible and you really don't get extremely beneficial contents from this dungeon besides the 30 max bullet and some exploration EXP.

We'd like to inform you that all our testing is done on the KOREAN server, it's common sense that changes are entirely possible for other servers

You are correct. Seems that Herro and Tetosan who were looking into that content misinterpreted a line in Exploration Mastery and erroneously thought it meant the Treasure Dungeons. What the line was supposed to mean was it says chances to find the location of other nearby treasures on the minimap.
Our apologies on this bit of misinformation. We shall do a better job verifying the validity of our information in the future.

After further investigation with the Team we found the error and want to apologize for it, we (Herro and me) attempted to translate the lines of the skills' effects without a Translator as the stuff google Translator spit out wasn't that hard to read and assumed they meant the Treasure Dungeon while it meant this effect:
At higher ranks, gives a chance to reveal nearby exploration artifacts on the map.
Things like that can happen however due to the team only having limited numbers of Translators available currently.
Again Sorry for the misinformation, I have now more courage to contact the translators and as such these errors should be minimized to a minimum.
