  the only time she's not banned for me is if someone says "PLEASE DON'T BAN KAT" and then the enemy team often bans her

  I don't think I have ever won a game in any mode that had an Akali in it. The akali always becomes extremely salty and accuses everyone else of not being any good at playing their role, even though everyone else is getting annoyed that the Akali is never where she should be.
  
  Teemo is annoying to be up against though. He makes a mess of ascension because shrooms everywhere, which eventually wears down the ascended enough for it to be easy pickings.
  
  I probably will run Heimerdinger again just because I had fun using him that one time. For now though it's back to Morgana and Soraka for me, I need to be somewhere betwen mage and healer.
  
  
  When doing draft picks I usually try to ban the champs that I don't want to be up against unless someone on my team intends to use them. Who actually gets hit depends entirely on my mood and what I have had trouble with recently in that particular game mode.
  
  Which for Ascension ended up being Paentheon, Katarina, Cassiopia, or Karthus.

  also, i have only had 1 rude teammate while playing ascension, and it was a fizz (everyone was just making fun of how seriously he was taking things)
  this is true for me with normals as well, as i have seen maybe 1 or 2 toxic akalis
  ...you just have bad luck.

  my elo is pretty low and i get the saltiest of the salty
  for example my last game we had a teemo who rage quit because our lb ran away with low health while he was fighting 2v1

  Usually I only do intbots or pvp normals, though lately I've been having fun in aram.
  
  Most games I'll be around 3/10/20 or so, but for a support that is to be expected. My Morgana kill/death ratio is noticably higher.

  you still have elo in normals, it's just hidden
  you mentioned you're not even level 30 so it's probably low

  when i was grinding to 30 there were smurfs nearly every game and they thought it was okay to bully their teammates because they're better than them.

  Simply put, if they offend me, I won't heal them.
  
  So they learn very quickly to shut up and play the game, or spend the rest of the match dying from lack of support.

  supports like soraka are kinda useless once the laning phase is over
  sona is always important tho
