With Nexon, the chances of hope are slimmer then paper.

Oh I see, can I have the link to the page that proves it?

Maybe it is on mabi gallery? I don't go on that website cuz of the occasional shock pages.

10k per point for that sword? That's nothing. My gladius is 11k per point at a 95% repair rate. D<
But man, dual wielding that + something else would be way too hax.

not very hard to extract the info from itemdb.xml...
<Mabi_Item ID="40363" DB_StoreType="1" Category="/equip/righthand/weapon/edged/steel/blade/sword04/
twin_sword/not_enchantable/hamlets_sword/not_dropable/magicsmith_repairable/" XML="<xml hitsound="sword" splash_radius = "250" splash_angle = "60" splash_damage = "0.4" stamina_usage = "1.2"/>" Text_Name0="Fire Sword of Hamlet" Generation="13" Season="1" SubSeason="0" Text_Name1="_LT[xml.itemdb.29280]" Text_Desc1="_LT[xml.itemdb.30125]" Bundle_Type="0" Bundle_Max="0" Price_Buy="129000" Attr_ActionFlag="5" Attr_Type="7" Attr_Grade="0" File_MaleMesh="weapon_c4_hamlet_firesword02" File_FemaleMesh="weapon_c4_hamlet_firesword02" File_GiantMesh="giant_weapon_c4_hamlet_firesword02" File_FemaleGiantMesh="giant_weapon_c4_hamlet_firesword02" File_FieldMesh="male_c4_hamlet01_sword02_i" File_InvImage="item_sword_hamlet" Inv_XSize="1" Inv_YSize="4" App_WeaponActionType="2" App_WearType="ss" App_UseC4Layer="TRUE" App_Color1="5" App_Color2="0" App_Color3="0" App_ColorOrder="0" App_AnimationType="tool_a05(1800)" App_SittingType="0" Taste_Beauty="0" Taste_Indivisuality="0" Taste_Luxury="0" Taste_Toughness="0" Taste_Utility="0" Taste_Rarity="0" Taste_Meaning="0" Taste_Adult="0" Taste_Maniac="0" Taste_Anime="0" Taste_Sexy="0" Par_BlockUseFlag="True" Par_UpgradeMax="0" Par_GemUpgradeMax="0" Par_DurabilityMax="20000" Par_Defense="0" Par_ProtectRate="0" Par_AttackMin="95" Par_AttackMax="190" Par_WAttackMin="50" Par_WAttackMax="100" Par_CriticalRate="50" Par_AttackBalance="0" Par_EffectiveRange="0" Par_AttackSpeed="2" Par_DownHitCount="2" Food_BlockUseFlag="False" />
that would mean it's dual wieldable with other swords

I don't really mind if one person on the server has some hax sword.
This might be because I don't use swords...and I can definitely understand why people are hesitant that mabi is moving in this direction.

Don't worry about it so much guys; devCAT listens to KR at least (despite totally ignoring us), and if they put up a fuss and complain about a certain feature enough, we won't see any more of it. We saw evidence enough of that when G13 was first implemented -- the massive changes to the job system were the result of a massive outcry on the part of KR beta testers and official server players.
All I see here is a sword that looks cool but obviously lacks functionality because of the stupidly ridiculous glove requirement in order to actually wield it. Why the big fuss over something that's THAT limited?
-
pkMaster wrote on 2010-08-31 12:42
How does wearing a specific glove limit the functionality of the sword? Unless your talking about not being able to wear the protective charm from G3 then I don't really see any problem with wearing a glove that allows you to weild the sword. Though i must admit, knowing that you'd need a 300 mil glove to even weild the sword is a pretty big turn off. I'm probably not gonna waste my time trying to get this sword.
[Edit]Actually, considering that it is the only sword that can cause injuries similar to a bow, it might be a nice sword to get your hands on.

"magicsmith_repairable"?
Also, I don't see a "not_tradeable" variable.

magic smith means anyone who repairs magical clothes (ex. Fleta), and there is no such thing as "not_tradeable" category in any of the item strings.

So Fleta repairs the sword?
Meaning 98%? :T_T:

I just thought of something funny. If whoever got the sword kept abusing it to the point where the sword broke, then that would mean that the sword would no longer be usable. Then that person would probably drop the sword which would eventually cease to exist, meaning no one would have the sword anymore.
Oh, and one other thing. I was checking the wiki earlier and I found another reason to get the Ophilia glove. Wearing it not only gives you the ability to hold the sword, it also boosts all ice-type magic by 15%. Seems like a really nice item to have for ice bolt spam.

well, someone already said before me that only fleta repairs it...

if you read the itemdb description it says "not dropable", so you can infer that it's not tradeable and can't be stored in pets.
the repair is well worth it if you consider how much money you need to get a 190 atk 1h ego
