Well, considering that the weapon repair is NOT 100%, the weapons max durability could eventually hit 0, at which point the weapon would become useless. That was the point I was trying to drive across. The fact that it's not dropable is irrelevant.

Don't worry about it so much guys; devCAT listens to KR at least (despite totally ignoring us), and if they put up a fuss and complain about a certain feature enough, we won't see any more of it. We saw evidence enough of that when G13 was first implemented -- the massive changes to the job system were the result of a massive outcry on the part of KR beta testers and official server players.
All I see here is a sword that looks cool but obviously lacks functionality because of the stupidly ridiculous glove requirement in order to actually wield it. Why the big fuss over something that's THAT limited?
That glove adds 15% damage to Ice Spear, Icebolt and Blizzard makes it non-stupid to use it with ice wands.

Screw the flaming sword, where are my Blizzard axe and my storm hammer, Devcat?

50% is dmg loss when it is raining. This is because the sword is flaming. But that shouldn't matter much since most ppl will be fighting in dungeons/missions.
Also the repair is fleta repair (10k per pt) and not AP repair so it has better stat than brionac, but cheaper cost.
By the way, you NEED to wear the glove to use the sword otherwise, it will say its too hawt.
Also, don't forget transforming stops rain in Shadow Missions. And I want a damn legendary bow-type weapon.
Edit: Also, I've been hearing from test server players that it respawns daily at midnight-- is that true? If so, is it going to change when it goes to the Official server, or is that how the feature is intended to be?

Gogogo Koreans! Complain to devCAT!
If you think about it, sooner or later everyone's going to be able to afford to make the glove and wield the sword. A weapon like this shouldn't be limited to a single person on the entire server like seal-breaker titles considering how much more useful the sword is than the title. This sword dual wielded with a maxed out bsword ego is pretty strong at 80% balance.

Ego weapons reach 0 durability too... Doesn't mean people won't use them >>

If it is in fact dual wieldable then this is just a big "screw you" to giants.

If everyone could afford to make this glove and get the sword, humans would be OP.

JIC you guys din't bother to read the previous 6 pages, it's not dual wieldable.

I don't think it will take that extreme to consider human to be overpowered. "Everyone" would include both extremes (poor/rich), and the "average". Considering "Everyone" is not a good gauge for anything.
If Everyone (or even average) person is considered, ego weapons are not powerful at all because very few people have it at level 40+ strength, let alone multiple level 40 stats or 50 stats.
There is always the repair protection pots as well... I don't see what is the big deal. Also, people do buy NX with gold as well.

The supposed itemdb info someone pulled out seem to say otherwise.

Well, whatever it is, it's just going to make the strong, stronger.
Nothing much, really.

giants will probly get a nice weapon too, as well as elves, in the next generations, so tis not a real screw up. i just hope its not limited to 1 weapon/server tough :x

Seems silly to guarantee one sword to only one person. I understand Seal Stones and whatnot, but like someone already brought up, doesn't everyone get a Brionac for completing G11? It seems sorta silly.
Also, seeing as how you only repair at Fleta's (is it?), that means that this sword will not last forever if you use it continually, therefore it will reach 0 durability one day. This makes the one sword per server idea even more stupid if you think about it.
I wouldn't be surprised if the sword spawn every midnight is true.

Chances are there'll be some restriction put in place so that it re-spawns if it dies and the person can't just get it and quit.

That's what I was thinking. I bet being the owner of the sword will be similar to being a Royal Alchemist. You'll have to keep certain requirements in order to keep the sword itself.
And if the sword breaks too, it disappears and someone else will be able to acquire it again. Just my speculation and trying to make sense of this.
