  Didnt know red buff adds more combos, that sounds slightly more fun. People are saying it's an A tier weapon in 4u but I just dislike it, maybe it'll change in full version. Being able to jump on monsters whenever you want is pretty strong.

  MH Frontier has been out in Japan for like 5+ years? People in NA would kill for a MMO like that but capcom refuses to localize it. They do not think it will sell well here at all.

  Yeah, Red is Damage+Hits, Orange is armor, and White is Jump/Speed. All 3 gives you even more damage and earplugs buff, but for some reason it doesn't work on Gore Magala roar. Gaijing hunter has a pretty good guy on it.

  I remember the constant balancing of weapons.
  
  
  If insect staff is a good overall weapon, ill see many people using it well then. However i am more... stab stab things die.
  
  Anyway, come feb 13th or when i get my copy in the mail. If anyone wants to hunt, just message me on skype (name is same as nation).

  Slime got nerfed a lot so it isnt the absolute best element anymore, it's balanced according to people. Other elements got buffed.
  
  I dont think any weapons got nerfs, only buffs. There are some arguments that switch axe got "nerfed" because they changed some move on it. The only weapon "nerfs" are like what's the best weapon at x point in the game compared to older games. Not sure about endgame but I'm pretty sure its mostly unchanged.

  Good. Was rather sick of using the slime lance over and over.
  
  Hopefully ill play this one a lot more than the 3's, in hopes i get more time with other weapons.

  If something is that op you probably should just not use it lol.Doesnt every MH game have a weapon counter on the guild card?

  MHFU, and MH3U were the only ones i remember that had it.
  
  Also MHF2 i was varied in my weapon choice with the HH being my favorite, i havent gotten used to the hunting horns yet after their revamp. Not to mention, Tri took one hell of a step back with their weapon choices so i stuck with lances, gotta love the poke poke poke, and well, slime didnt help on the big bosses all that much, so i used other lances, or guns.
  
  I remember LS users being the bane of my existence.

  MHF2 and MHP3 had it too so im 99% sure tri has it. Lances were so op in tri that they hsd to nerf them in P3 and 3u. Also LS mains are hated by the entire online MH community

  If hunting a monster is taking a while then that's a sign that there's room for a lot of improvement (even highly difficult monsters in the gathering hall can be slain in a few minutes with the right approach by experienced hunters even while solo). Learn hitzones, attacks/attack patterns, how to make the most of your weapon etc. A guy has made some comprehensive tuts on youtube for a lot of the weapons and he also has a tumblr.

  Buy a circle pad pro? Not too expensive and it will fix your R button.

  I really want to try the game out but don't have a demo code. I've never really gotten into Monster Hunter but I heard this one is gonna be pretty good.
