  I'm rather late to be adding to this post but I've been enjoying the new 3DS for quite a while now. I used to have a normal 3DS XL but "downgraded" to the regular new 3DS. I actually much prefer it at this size, inbetween the old small one and XL.

  I'm using the smash bros face plates that also came with this pack, they look fantastic! I have been playing Majora's Mask 3D and also gave Smash / MH3 a try on this after getting it. Very pleased with the faster loading times and much nicer screen!

  it replaces the AXYB buttons with quicker movements then pressing buttons or something

  Smash attack with it instead of pushing a button and using the circle pad at the same time. Just move it in a direction=smash attack.

  Seeing that NA appears to have like 0 stock if this that I can reliably find. What's the downside to getting a Japanese Import of this? Can the Japanese Import be in English?

  -Crosstalk/"ghosting" is still present even with the super stable 3D. More of an issue with some games than others, I don't play with the 3D on at all in MH4U.
  -Some people are finding that the "C-stick" works fine when directed to the left and up but down and right aren't as responsive. Apparently this is common enough that Nintendo is "overloaded with repair requests". I'm stuck in the group that has issues with the C-stick and I have the limited MH4U N3DS XL so I'm rather unhappy about that. My urge to keep playing monster hunter vs my being unhappy with the C-stick problem has left me indecisive about what to do :s

  What with distribution problems (can't find one in the US) and all these complaints, it doesn't seem that it's worth the money.

  some one suggested wiping the C-stick with thin micro fiber cloth they think its just manufactoring dust that slid into the sides around it or something

  None of my friends or I have had issues with the C-Stick. I'm very happy with my N3DSXL purchase and only who would want to upgrade I would totally recommend it.

  As much as I would have liked to play the Xenoblade Chronicles port, I'll wait a year so they can work out the kinks on the N3DS.

  Swapped the defective N3DS for a new one thanks to the staff of my locla EB games. C-stick works fine on this one so hurray.
