It is always fun to join a guild that specifically says no drama because we all know it is going to happen eventually. There is always that one person to takes no drama so seriously they cause drama, or at least that is what Ive noticed. Anyone know what I mean? Or anyone have any fun Mabinogi related drama stories?

I've been in I think four guilds and I've never had drama before to be honest (other than a guild dieing because the leader stops playing if that counts). But none of those guilds were actually advertising as being drama free either, so that may be a factor.

My guild is far too mature and friendly to have drama in/about it!

We always will have to face some drama at some points in our life, so we pretty much have to prepare myself for when it do actually come.

Usually when there is a guild that says: "No Drama" I've noticed that those guilds have the most drama, it's almost like... reverse psychology.

I've noticed this too. Guilds that are vocal about not allowing drama eventually go up in flames when the potential for it has built up to levels beyond what people can hold back.
And its a darn shame too, because it usually results in groups of good friends being more or less permanently ripped apart with many cases ending in the guild disbanding and a fair portion of the players uninstalling Mabinogi.
I guess I should log onto my Alexina character again and see who is still alive. Tarlach has been deathly quiet lately with so few familiar faces around.

My guild is too random to have drama. Then again I barely pay attention to guild chat most of the time preferring to be the distant yet aloof kind of player.

If you have a very social guild made up of diverse people then you're going to have drama, at least some drama. It's natural. The question is, how do you deal with the drama? Do you handle it inhouse to try to minimize the damage through talking and diplomacy and the removal of offending elements if needed? Does it end with 20 people screaming at each other? Or does it end with rage disbanding the guild because the leader can't deal? It's like responding to earthquakes, you can't predict or prevent them but you can prepare for them.
It's all about how you handle it; interpersonal conflict is just what tends to happen when people get together.

I personally. Prefer to stay out of drama I'm usually not a guild person..Just prefer to be aloof.
But with every guild the drama is there, it's honestly how the leaders or elders handle it.

Drama happens when people have the mind of 12 year olds.
Honestly, if you're mature enough, this shouldn't be a problem at all.

Well its just a fact of life some people don't get along, while you could handle it in a way that is more mature than a 12 year old, sometimes conflict is unavoidable. If you want to have synergy and keep a guild together you have to be unbiased. Even in the professional world things wont always work well together, that doesn't necessarily mean they're immature. If someone is though and refuses to cooperate, you can blacklist and kick from guild.

Real world is different. Of course you don't have to be immature to have conflicts rise up.
Mabinogi is another thing. Usually drama happens out of silly things, and how people handle it, it's up to them. In a game where large portion of the population are in teenage areas, I can see how stupid things can spew out drama.
