Exactly like tera endgame.
Elaborate? The only problem I see with tera's endgame is bad RNG for gearing up.

I remember when I play Destroyer in Chinese server, I can lift people, toss them into the air, then I jump into the air myself, grapple the dude in mid air, and spin slam the guy into the ground, it was magical.
Also it's relatively easy to level destroyer because of your AoE, just run around to draw aggro, then spin to win.

Not a con about blade and soul but a con about the NA localization.... Ive been in queue to log in for 2 hours now and i still have a 101 minute wait time. I spent 130$ on the founders pack and basically dont even get the head start bonus I was told I would get. If this issue isnt fixed for full release this game WILL die and I will be quitting it....
don't roll on mushin
If you rolled on mushin knowing that server would be way over capacity you only have yourself to blame
source: me and my guild members tried rolling mushin, got fucked over, restarted on soha

More like all my guildees and friends agreed to roll on mushin. I'm not going to restart and play this game solo when I've played it through like 6 times already. I would rather play with friends. NCSoft is honestly at fault for this for not putting precautions in to make it better when it was obvious wat was going to happen.

I got screwed with mushin server too. I had no idea how populated it was since the fucktards don't indicate it when you make your character. I picked mushin since it wasn't on top of the list or bottom, which is usually how most people pick servers. On friday when I made my character everything was fine. Was a queue of maybe 5 minutes which was perfectly non-suspicious since it was the grand opening of head start.... then saturday morning was WTF.
By then it was too late to restart I had used most of the founder pack items on my character. Some can be mailed but others not, plus I had already leveled.

Mushin was the only alpha server during alpha and 1 of 3 servers for beta. It solidified its popularity by having most of the original players on it from the begining by force.
As far as founder pack items go, if you send in a ticket your allowed to transfer founder pack items and character names over to another server, however you cannot keep levels and other items on transfer so it fks people over who dont want to start over. It also brings the issue of if you are playing with other people on the server, you cant force them to move and its kind of unfair for them to have to restart as well. In the end this is entirely NCSoft's fault as they should have expected something like this and made precautions instead of throwing a half-assed solution at people and telling them "sucks but this is all your getting for now".

So far ncsoft really surprised me with very very little in terms of pay2win in the cash shop. The gold trading system hasnt been implemented yet and hopefully never does. The ui was definitely improved from wat it was during cbt and alpha. All in all so far NCSoft has done very well and surprised me.

I think it's interesting to say the least. The aesthetics are nice, the story doesn't take long to quickly shift to a grim route, and our combat gives us interesting options. However, I do want to point out some concerns:
- Mobility: While it's good that we're not relying on horses, early on we can only dash forward. I can barely move backwards without turning around (which requires me to flip my cursor 180, and zoom out distance doesn't go far), compared to simply walking forward or strafing. Not to mention our glide is incredibly slow.
- Money: We don't get any currency until AFTER we start sidequests which is a few quests after the tutorial zone, and mobs don't appear to drop money either. Even selling stuff to NPCs just only gives me 1 copper. However, I'm already seeing stuff being priced at 3-10 silver in the area after the tutorial. As a veteran MMORPG player who doesn't rely much on items, this doesn't bother me much, but it seems like a huge issue to newbies when they don't have the funds to buy consumables (even though the game gives you some).
- Clan: A friend invited me to their clan, but I can't find it on clan search?
- Options and Settings: I don't see an option to "press Alt to bring up the cursor" instead of "hold Alt" in B&S's cursor mode, likewise there's no mouse turning option without left-click drags in standard cursor mode. I can't find "play music in background" option. What I'm saying is some of these options seem rather wonky than compared to other MMOs.
But this is only a few hours after launch. I'm still entertained and I'll continue moving forward with B&S.

You get used to it, the main issue is running out of the "stamina" your given and having to wait for it to replenish. You will get a skill that allows you to dash in the air while your gliding.
You dont get money until you start needing it. You really have absolutely no need for money until easily like level 20 honestly since anything you could need is almost given to you up till then. Also, mobs do drop money. Main forms of income for players is questing and trading with other players. You can farm money if you know how to do it but its unnecessary.
You cant join a clan until you choose a faction and that faction has to be the same as everyone in the clan you want to join, im not sure if you have done that yet but other than that i dont know.

Picked a blade dancer, i'm enjoying the combat a lot, i like it more than i initially liked tera's combat, i'll give it that. But i'm finding running around and actually dodging basic attacks to be doing nothing, i can dodge some really obvious wind up attacks, but not the rather slow basic swings, even if im behind them they 180 and smack me after all wind up time, so it's a bit different than tera despite using nearly the same engine.
*edit* Found out how strafeing works, it's pretty much a fool proof dodge, unless i'm missing something, lmao that makes this game seem a lot easier

Seems a nice game. Made a character on EU.
I noticed its a lil jumpy when walking around like it is buffering resources. Happens on entering some areas but cleans up quick.
Also wasn't very impressed when it crashed 20 min in though after using the fast travel for the first quest that gives that. Game is fun other than a few issues though the combat is very fun!

That's... not very reassuring. And so far there's nothing in the beginning that prepares us for the economy. What's the point of having merchant NPCs in the first area of the game if you can't buy anything from them?
I already joined the Cerulean Order or whatever. There's nothing showing up in clan recruitment.

How did you configure your controls for strafing?
