  Other than what the wiki's skill page on Fishing lists, the only thing I can see is whether a catch is listed as a fish or an item, which affects things like the Item Fishing Pole 22 or whatever for catching items more often (but I can't see the mechanics, and quest is a third category, likely for training).
  
  Speaking of that data though, I remember a question on these forums about whether Taitainn Carp is considered a fish, since it lacks a size and can stack. It is listed as a fish in the fishing pools.

  So anyways, depending on how the drop math works for monsters, those pools are either 15%/2%/0.4%, or 86%/11%/0.2%. So the drop chance for the Snow Spider's Web specifically looks to be either 0.13% or 0.06% if the blue stone is still there... or 0.2% or 0.1% if it's not.

  
  
  Which effectively renders the entire thing hopeless.
  
  Even if you had an army of r1 weave/tailor at your beck and call to assemble into prod parties and godly luck with tailoring completion %, you're looking at a minimum quarter million spiders. What do you get per run, 20? 25? That's over 10,000 mission passes. If quitting after spiders, requiring all passes from sheep (math math) it's over 147,000 shears. Gather speed doesn't work, and there's the extra failure chance on them. Even if we estimate 6 seconds on average per (with movement) and 20% fail, that's over 306 hours of pure sheering paper sheep.
  
  306 hours with a ton of generous estimations that would never work out practically, plus the time for all the runs themselves, and godly luck on the tailor.
  
  There's a reason all existing gloves are leftovers from the old dup. I will never be able to get a pair.

  Most gloves are leftover from that. Well, I'd say only 1-4 in each server are legit worked for. About 30-50% of gloves are duped. Since Item hooks are broken, its hard to tell. But that leaves 50~80% of gloves with one reason why they're made: 4th of July Gachapon (iirc).
  Literally stacks of ice fabric and silk in gachapon. There's still folks with storages today, and that's the reason I was able to make 3 pairs of gloves.

  The gacha mats (at least on gacha central alexina) were even more common than the thousands of duped mats so by now probably 90% are gacha mat gloves and 10% duped mat ones. People with duped mat ones probably don't even play anymore.
  
  Don't think anyone ever made one with non-gacha or non-dupe mats in Alexina. By the time people were 80% done collecting spider poop dupes and gacha had already hit.

  Never heard of that, I probably missed it, and have never seen a single piece in all my time shopping belvast. Maybe if they ever re-release it in a gach I can try to stock up.

  Back in G13 it only came from the Solea chests apparently. As far as the odds from Solea, I can't really tell. There's multiple reward pools based on the outcome of a function I can't find the definition for. It's a 5% drop from the pool it's in, but that's only counting half of half of the total item drops.

  Planned the Sword of Elsinore to be the Sword of Sword, the Sword King.
  
  Back during where most sword damage (remember, back then, the best sword was a Battle Sword [Not Counting the hard to syn War Sword] could not reach the Sword of Elsinore's cap, it was extremely desirable. Especially when SG was capped at Step 3.
  
  However, the Director forgot that as an MMO ages, damage creeps come into play. Things have to progressively get stronger, and after 6-7 generations, the Sword of Elsinore has long lost its pinnacle of use.
  
  It is the fate of every new weaponry.
