  Of course it has an item ID. . . If it didn't, you wouldn't see the models at all ingame.

  Well you're still on the ground even if you're model looks like its on a high staircase, animations can be deceiving. Flight works completely differently.

  As far as Morgant's stuff, nothing alludes to a sword for him so it's likely just a force-colored claymore (palette restrictions are only applicable to natural generation and dyeing). In fact, there's no items or descriptions with his name in them at all in r205.
  
  As far as Ruairi, only his sword (which we have/know-of), G18 hair, and G18 face are his items. All the other stuff is like, doll bags and stuff of him that we have available already.

  I haven't seen anything like that, the restriction is likely related to movement-restricting items potentially being swapped to or animation issues during flight so they just disabled swapping to be safe.
  
  I'm sure we'll all get to see just how horrible the system is when Aura starts trying to decode and implement it in a more sane fashion.

  No, you don't have invisible equipment. It's removal is client sided, a property on the race xml I believe.
  
  Flying sets a state in your character data which causes the server to track and report your height. At all other times, the server only reports your x and y. The client then "drops" you onto the map. Your character is rendered on top of the first solid area. This is how things like steps work. On top of that, animations can graphically offset your character's position, but this is "fake". The server still sees you at your old position.
  
  The reason you can't change weapons is due to locks. At various triggers, like using a skill, mounting a pet, etc, the server " locks" certain actions. So when you try to switch, the server sees it's not currently allowed and prevents the change.

  Blutsauger is neat, and can be dual-wielded and looks finished/ready to me. Blut is blood in German IIRC.

  
  "Blut" means blood and "sauger" in this context means "sucker", "Bloodsucker". In German it's used as a term for Vampires. Apparently it also means "Vampire" in Japanese.

  Weren't there "Live" picture thingies on the Asian Mabi sites? I always thought they'd run around with those camcorders to make screenshots that then get put there.

  Cores' Mysterious Roswell was part of an ancient treasure event way back in 2010. They were included in gachapon for the first time nearly three years later.

  Kyuketsuki is vampire. Burūtozaogā is just the romanization of Blutsauger in Japanese.

  Except the thing is... It have been there since G1 and even some videos you view as an introduction to Mabinogi show few characters using the Cores Mysterious Roswell hat... I also have heard of some rumor about it being an extremely rare drop from a certain dungeon or so.
  
  Please do note that this was all from before Iria even came out.
