  Right now I wouldn't need to specialize until masters, but I'm definitely interested within the realm of European history. I read and watch a lot about the Roman Empire, as well as Napoleon's life (because he's my waifu and I find his life endlessly fascinating), but other than that I haven't narrowed down a particular area yet. Generally people specialize in a very specific time period and concern from what I've witnessed. I also need to be proficient in the main language of the area I study too, right now I'm getting French under my belt and then I'll decide on another to learn before grad school.

  You're brave making it out to Universal during this heat and with the crowds. Did you get the two park pass and go to Islands of Adventure and Universal? Or did you just check out the one park?

  I don't really know much about houses except that they cost way more than they should from my point of view. Condos provide plenty of living space for much better prices for their location, good alternative to renting if you know you aren't going anywhere for a long time.

  
  
  So funny cuz I've just had the same convo with Yoorah a few weeks ago. xD Condos are nice but then you can't have a pool, a home theater and you have to avoid being too loud. I feel like you can have so much more fun in a house even if it's a small one!
  
  I'm currently taking care of the sale of my mother's house (about 2h from montreal lol). Painting/fixing stuff is a pain but the staging part is really fun! I love decorating! :D
  
  As for myself well I'm doing nursing stuff and it's boring as usual so I try to come up with projects to keep myself busy. :3

  I would definitely go for a house if I wanted to live outside of the city, or on the outer edges of it. I want to live right inside the city though, so unless I randomly come across some crazy people selling a house in the city for really cheap condos are pretty much the only option unless I win the lottery.

  What Osay is doing right now is saving money and investing! Renting usually increases in price yearly (at least in my part of the world) and more often than not is more expensive than just working towards paying off a mortgage.
  
  Basically putting your money towards owning something is for many of us the route to save in the long term and basically "invest" in a property. By saving money on rent and putting money towards owning something, Osay can sell the condo later and put that money towards a better property if he ever wishes to. Right now location is his priority and renting is a drain of a monthly paycheck, so a condo is a compromise to meet his needs. He saves money monthly, invests in a property, and is close to where he wants to be.
  
  I'm also sure that if Osay is in the position to look at purchasing a home he's already investing in some form and has been saving.

Marry me when it's not working out with your prof, ok? :D When I went to Strasbourg with class as part of a study trip, the greatest part was walking across Place d'Austerlitz and making a picture of the golden Austerlitz memorial badge that was suspended in the air, shaped in the form of the Napoleonic eagle!
  Okay, it was the second coolest part after the one where we got to look at the miniature Reichstag-rebuilding and that postwar German-French brotherhood statue. Strasbourg is just great!
  Rome is great too! Especially their military! So much more to it than Marian legionaries and testudo, although those are of course still the coolest.
