[KR-Mabinogi] New Hairstyle Coupon Gach

  Some NPC hair actually has other things permanently attached to the model (Professor J's hair has his hat in it), other things don't work properly across races or genders (Izumi Curtis hair on non-giants), and some other NPC hairs are missing certain bits (Kusina's hair is missing her hair ties for some reason).
  
  But yeah other than that there's a ton of styles they could go add, though they'd have to test all the entries manually to be sure they worked and were safe.

  Yeaaaaa- Nexon doesn't need a gambling system to make money though. I'd gladly pay for quality NX items, like dyes, weapon skins and transformation rank skins

  Coupons are tradeable. No Pon cost, just coupon. No coupon, no new hair. Coupon is also consumed when you switch to the hair that requires it and requires another coupon if you ever so to another hair and then want to switch back. So, yay >.>

  Yah I realized this when I was just png swapping hairs around, another faulty one is Dowra's hair: on humans it's too big, and on humans/giants wearing any hat item (excluding gears and items of the sort) results in an invisible head (excluding the facial area). That being said I don't think it'd take much for them to fix these hairs to translate onto other races... Although... they still haven't really made most of the human npc eyes work well on Giants.. (they all look a little derpy to me)

  *edit* they don't look as bad right now.. perhaps its because I'm under the effect of a Tin Pot. Usually the eyes are either too centered and high up when I'm regular height. (changed hair for better viewing)

  If anything, I feel that they'd rake in more money if they decided to make the hairstyle, eyes, and mouth feature a permanent feature you can buy directly with pons (even if they make the pon triple its cost) so you don't have to worry about losing your feature if you rebirthed into different gender or change your features as you can get it back again by paying pons and so on.

  This gacha for most = burst of cash for a new hairstyle, then much less cash from being stuck into that hairstyle.
  
  You'll never want to change it because you might have no more coupons for that hairstyle or you only have 2-3 spare ones left.
  
  Then again, if this sells well...It'll open the flood gates to do more of it. :-/

  My post was about the person being all like 'I already pay a flat so i don't wanna have to buy Gachas'
  Gachas are a part of what is keeping the servers up. Sure they don't fully pay the server but i'd imagine Mabi NA would've shut down by now if there wasn't the Gacha Money they rake in (wasn't there already an imminent threat of closing a few years ago?)

  Nexon screwed around with in-dungeon sustain at higher levels to a point where you first started needing to bring in permanent mana pots, and needed more and more of them per run to a point where you wouldn't even earn enough gold in a run to purchase the amount of mana you were using, in an effort to drive sales for NX pots. I know I quit after I hit that wall. Player shops were the only reasonable way to get decent enough mana recovery items and that took every single gold I earned in a run just to get through the same run again.
  
  
  
  As for this hair thing, the coupon system seems bad. Not specifically because it makes the styles one-time only, but because it clutters inventory space with coupons you can't come remotely close to using all of. Unlocking them emote-style would at least promote people to collect and consume them. If it did something like set the style to 0 pon for you when you collect it, then revert to normal price after the first time you select it, that would be a great way to work it. You unlock the option and get one free change into it, but still retain the option to pay back into it later if you change away. The coupon system is going to have people using 1 at most, and unable to sell the massive clutter of extras.

  It's impossible to predict when and IF NA Nexon will implement something. Keyword is IF. There is no guarantee that NA Nexon will even implement this at all as there's many things KR has had that NA never got.
