Only if HIPAA classifies them as their personal representative, and the parents request that information.
Or if the doctor's ask them if they want to know, either way, they know.

Well, the real problem is, even if you turn those privacy related options off, Microsoft could still secretly turn them back on, just like how Windows Update bahaved in Windows 7. There has been multiple times when I was 100% my update was completely turned off (not even checking the updates), but Microsoft changed them back to automatically download and install updates.
To make things worse, after installing, it will automatically restart if you happen to be AFK, even if you have works unsaved.

My windows update has never restarted my computer for at least 5 years, because it's the first thing i disable.

I keep seeing the title of this thread when I scroll down the forums so I wanted to point out that in ~2 months Windows 10 is now passed 100 million devices.

So unless I missed it, nobody in this thread actually pointed out the important bit. The whole "updates will remove pirated software" applies to Xbox Live, it's not in the Windows terms (and that document does not apply to Windows 10, check the products list).
I'm on Windows 10 now. I gave it some time for things to update for support, and for people to actually test and see if Microsoft was doing the things people would be afraid of them doing. As mentioned in this thread already, people can easily tell if Microsoft is actually rifling through your porn or whatever because they don't control reality, just the OS and things outside the OS exist and can log everything the OS does.
And exactly jack has shown up.
