So I've been wondering, how do you really make friends in Mabinogi? I mean I've made a few friends before kind of on accident but, for the most part, it seems like everyone has something to do and somewhere to be and there just aren't that many opportunities to meet new people. I'm sure there's got to be an easier way to make friends on here that I just haven't thought of so if any of you know a better way of making friends on here I'd love some tips! Thanks!

Doing daily activities that require parties is also another great way to make friends. I used to like PvP a lot as well, and made a couple good friends from dueling in South Dunby(Idk about the people there now though :( ... ).

Events are also amazing places to make friends. I met some of my closest Mabi buddies at the fishing event and Dragon Boat event where you can generally talk most of the time.

One of em I just though, I'll go do rundal solo for the lulz. and that person was sitting on the altar with a party waiting for more people to join.

We went in together and ended up talking for hours after the run.

I personally never meet many people at dunby / event since I usualy am always afk here.

Comment on people's appearance, it usually sparks a conversation. (This can be what they're wearing, what their char looks like, what titles/names they have, what pose they are in.)

Conversely you can make yourself look in a way that'd make other people want to comment on your appearance, such as my appearance in that avatar to the left of this post.

years ago back when i was new i needed help with Karu for the elf trans quest, i got someone to help me and thats actually how i ended up in my current guild, so i find helping/asking for help or even just working together for a daily sm is a good way to find people
