  • Human civilians are assholes who blame Saitama for blowing up their city rather than looking out for the positive aspect.
    
  • Hero's Association has shit anti-monster protocols and can't defend their cities for shit. Also their ranking hierarchy is shit for having a writing exam involved (what good does writing do for heroism?).
    
  • Heroes who aren't Saitama are pretty much the above: can't defend for shit and assholes who pick on Saitama. They're pretty much the true frauds.
    

  
  
  The villains on the other hand pretty much know what they're doing and know how to overtake cities and beat heroes to a pulp; they're just only stopped by Saitama being OP. Saitama himself has great characteristics outside of his extreme power; he's not a cliche hero, no he only is a hero because he wants to be, and doesn't care so much about how people see him. He only acts on his own terms, and if people call him a fraud or don't bother with physical training then its their fault.

  What? This is hardly the case.
  
  OPM asks the question: what does it mean to BE a hero? And we can already safely conclude it's not all about power levels. There are things like planning and teamwork (like shown in last three episodes) and most importantly - resolve (a wonderful example given by Mumen Rider).
  
  Just because Saitama is on a whole another level than the rest of the universe doesn't meat everybody else is "shit."

  Mumen Rider is the best hero, because he's the one any of us could be. He's just a guy on a bike doing the best he can to help people. He doesn't have any special powers, and he knows he'll never be anything more than a C-class hero, but he always shows up to help in whatever way he can.

  Except with the whole battle with Deep Sea King, everyone who isn't Saitama got wiped effortlessly; Genos and Sonic haven't improved since their previous battles at all. And before that you have civilians, Snek, Tank-Top Tiger and Black Hole, and pretty much the Hero's Association staff being assholes to Saitama.
  
  Okay, I'll give credit to Mumen Rider's determination, but I haven't seen the final few episodes yet.

  There's also the finishing punch at the end of ep 12 of OPM. A normal, no-energy-beam punch from Saitama split the clouds in earth's atmosphere. For someone like goku to do the same thing would typically need an energy beam style attack and not just the air pushed by a punch.
  
  Then we find out that saitama wasn't going all out in episode 12 so despite those amazing feats there's still more hidden power.[/SPOILER]

  
  
  So this is leaving me a tad confused. If Saitama was able to part the clouds halfway around Earth with a serious punch that probably wasn't even his full strength, he should have been able to shatter the asteroid to dust if he had punched at full power right? So why didn't he?

  Why "he" didn't I don't know but it was likely done that way on purpose for the plot points it brought up (civilians hating on him for making the meteor shards break everything).

  That you can do something does not mean that you want to, if you can leave your responsabilities to others even if it is a must, then you can just leave it to others.
  
  Amani Mask is not only intrested in Genos, he is intrested in anyone who could stain the reputation of the hero asociation as i guess that you saw, he probably would try to take down anyone who would make him mad regardless of whoever is.
  
  Thinking that people that are heroes or that are in the hero asociation must be good people by default is like thinking that all cops are good cops and there cannot be random psychos that just want to have a gun and have a good reason to shoot people without being sent to jail. (And yes i am talking about you Tohru Adachi)
