Ah yes... MGQ. Good times.

Spoiler tags start with (Spoiler="") (replace the parenthesis with brackets, because the site wants to hide the ="" part), where ="" is the name for the spoiler tag in between quotations.
It was great that you corrected the first word, the second? not so much, since i tried to say something like "My Overall thoughts of the event" but i could not really recall that word
It is clearly stated by Tamamo that she is the one pulling the strings on that one and is not as much as a "bad ending" but rather one of several alternative endings where Luka ends up as part of Selene's harem, just that only the original ending is the only one that has an epilogue
Quote from CIRNO;1292190:
Get out, Tamamo or go home.
I can't complete the game because they don't let me progress after touching fluffy tail.
CURSES.
Actually, if you dared to choose the right answer you get like 2 more chances to end up with Tamamo, one near the end of 2nd game and the third one as an alternative ending (You talk with Tamamo for this one) after you eliminate the big bad/true boss of the 3rd game
And by not progressign on the story you miss how Tamamo curbstomp a very dangerous enemy just because "Her tails are fluffier"
Analisis (this is a text wall):
The story.. wasn't that it was shallow, more that felt rushed given the total lenght of the story and how much you interact with Meryl, the actions of Laisomething are bassed on this:
She dies
She gets tortured by the souls of those who died
Her grandfather somehow got corrupted and gained an unknown power then freed her from the place where his soul
went
Brought her back her soul from wherever was trapped with the sole purpose to sacrifice the milletian (which should mean that he knows that the milletian is a key factor for their resurrection)
She or her remaining memories (from her last thoughts before dying) posses (?) Shenon
With unknown powers Sera managed to turn her uncounciousness that wants to get freed into a Kristell body double to make you get the fragments of the compass
After getting the compass with unknown powers gave her true essence (her soul) a body that can interact with phisical objects
Something wrong happened and she came without memories
She finds you
You bond with her (given what all the dialogues say) while you deal with that side of her that must kill you (Fake Kristell)
She gets the logs and start remembering
She remembers that must kill you
She merges with her other parts separated by the uncomplete magic that was used to bring her back
Duel time
Second wind (Seriously i had no idea that despair could be used as a power up)
She understands that even she has to kill you to revive her crew and family you basically do not deserve to be sacrificed and kind of care about you (i already said she bonded with you on that short time)
She let you go
Her Grandfather (obviously corrupted) backstabs her
????
Your actions redeemed her and now she is your partner
Profit
Analisis of the sacrifice thing (text wall too):
Almost everyone agrees that a regular person contains a body and soul, yet for some reason every time that the milletian body has been in danger, he has to find a way to clean himself, he cannot shake it off with rebirth, also his body vanish with him when he rebirths and can gets re-shaped to his will, this means that the milletian body is at the same time his soul; almost everyone agrees that a soul has no form, so you are just giving new shape to your soul, this is also supported by why you faint in battle instead of dying and nobody does anything to you (your body turn into an untangible being only be seen or interacted by characters that you can count with your hand, yes, milletians count as a single being ) except Girgashiy which can keep dealing damage even when you are fainted to get HP (Girgashiy is basically eating a representation of your soul but you are ok because you are still bound to the soul stream).
When someone states to kill the milletian must mean to know how to separate the connection of his body (his phisical soul) from the soul stream (yeah, sorry i have not gone far in the generations, all the info i got is from reading about Shakespeare) so when he dies he does not get instantly sent to the soul stream so he (and all his power) can fuel whatever device the current villian tries to use
