Oh yes to ground type right? Which isn't that pretty bad in the metagame where almost every team carries earthquake?
Dat ability to be able to poison other poison and steel types though. that could get interesting...

I'm still waiting for the next bug steel, and hopefully it has heatproof as its ability along with being a tank.

We're getting some pretty fun type combinations here. Normal/Fighting (Kiteraguma) and Ghost/Fairy (Mimikkyu/Mimicyu) are now a thing (two typings I've also wanted to see). Would definitely love to see Fire/Fairy, Normal/Ghost, Fighting/Ghost, Normal/Dark, Fairy/Fighting or Dark/Fairy announced in the future.

Updated the OP with two videos so far. :)
I'm really liking Salandit so far and I may consider getting him on my team.
I am in love with Mimikyu, Comfey, and Bounsweet though! I really want to have either Mimikyu or Comfey on my team as well. I like the idea of Wimpod as well.
If Wimpod end up getting an evolution or two... I hope it doesn't end up like Surskit where it loses the Water type to get replaced with something. :/ Bug/Water is a good type combo and it should stay for Wimpod's line.
I am not fan of Bewear and Mudsdale though... They both are the first two Pokémon to make it onto my hated 7th Gen Pokémon list.

As a casual competitive player mudsdale is the most competitive pokemon listed so far, some of them have some good potential, but if mudsdale is a tank, or a sweeper that gets tanky if you switch him into a phys attacker he will wreck some butthole.

Annnd both competitive, more than likely.
Mudsdale seems like a fun addition to any team, imo.
Mind if I ask why you don't like them? Designs?

Mainly designs, yeah. I am sure they'll be good competitive-wise. :)

Well in the right hands even a pokemon that isn't all that competitive can do some work. Watching PIMPNITE's videos for example shows what a competent trainer can do even in the hands of joke teams like a full zubat team.
So far the only pokemon I care about this gen at the moment is Litten as I challenge myself to do a full run of this game without using any evolved pokemon and going with my full cat team.
Problem is breeding is very painful. Took me 8 hours just to get Glameow with 5 IVs (HP, Attack, Defense, Sp Defense, and Speed). Still another 4 cats to go that I have to decide what I am going to do with....

Remember runes, they added hyper training this gen. It'll allow you to change your IVs on your pokemon once they're level 100.

Ya, but the problem is I do want to kind of have them prepped before hand. Especially if I'm going to attempt to do an entire run of the game without evolving the little kitties. I'm going to need every edge I can get.

Are you sure about that? Where did you see it confirmed?
