Frustrating as that was, it doesn't come close to Eye of an Eagle Owl 1. I can't even figure out what I'm supposed to be doing. The entire mission is nonsensical and has no real explanation for how to go about what it's asking you to do.
For your problem specifically, the only skills you should really be using in there are Windmill, Assault Slash, and Final Hit. Final Hit is best saved for later in my experience, when you're down to needing those last few kills with only about 10 seconds (at best) to do it, yet your "allies" are knocking them away from you. The rest is mostly Windmill spam and AS'ing anything that has the nerve to go into deadly to waste your precious time.
Overall, I feel like G20 bounces between "so easy it's a joke" and "completely frustrating for all the wrong reasons" too much for me to actually enjoy it.

I didn't have any issues with the missions to be honest. Overall I found G20 to be quite enjoyable. Then again I also had the chance to figure things out in KR so I knew exactly what I needed to do and how best to accomplish it.

I got lost a few times trying to find the right NPC to talk to, other than that those two RPs were the most annoying bits... because I didn't realize there was Final Hit so I was just normal attacking (huge splash) and Windmilling everything.
That last fight was annoying though. Advanced Heavy Stander can bite me, it's so cheap.

That's it, I'm done, tables got flipped over. Two more hour of trying left me convinced that it's a latency issue - I just can't hit the guys fast enough as there is a significant delay and while final hitting I often just stand still instead of teleporting to nearby mobs.
All I can do at this point is to try my luck and beg Nexon to extend the time limit.

I am playing from Singapore and I had no issues with both timing and latency for the "Kill 100 slender robe beginners that are below Lv100" mission. In fact, in comparison with the rest of the Elder missions that required you to kill lots and lots of Slender Robe newbies, this is one of the easier ones.
The most difficult one would probably be the one that has to do with stopping newbies from running across the bridge. Man, that one is a headache. I had to reset 3 times. I recommend people to funnel them down the middle of the bridge while you camp at the third emblem, windmilling and normal hitting the single ones. Use FH the moment you get into the mission so you get to use FH twice.
Overall, this mission was... Underwhelming at it's best. If there is one thing that pisses me off the most on Mabinogi, it is NPCs with Advanced Heavy Stander and enforced 1 damage. Nevertheless, no one said you *have* to fight the NPCs. Just play Lullaby, run to a far corner so their AIs can't track you, then sit down and relax for the rest of the timer.
Final boss is somewhat tanky, it didn't die after 4 hits of my LR.
Overall: Relatively easy.
People getting stuck at finding Caswyn should learn how to play hot and cold TBH, what the fuck, that mission is so easy, I took less than 25 clicks to find him.
And they give you 100.

Just use the gem, find out where the person is via the directions of the gem, then use the gem on that location
You can use the gem 100 times
You only need like less than 10 times for one location
There is 3 locations before you go to the final location
After you done that, you'll reach gemland, where you just afk and answer questions every minute.

Honestly if people are complaining about Eye of Eagle, they should have done it when it first came out in KR and you only had 40 tries of the gem. That being said, there are some preset locations to the traces of Casweyn I realized after attempting several tries on KR.

Red X's are confirmed approx locations of the traces of Casweyn and the red circles is places that seemed like I was getting close to but never quite got them.
