Okay so i was bored in the cooking dungeon.
So i decided to see what would happen if you did nothing in the cooking dungeon...

I did NOTHING.
Just got the time right.
Also Glewyas fails as a chef in this dungeon.
He didn't kill a single thing in the circle. xD
Anyways, i got 50/100 points just for the correct time...
AND I still got food. xD

So, I guess this is proof of just how much time really matters in this dungeon.

LOL at that. Is the score good enough for anything but getting low ranked food? And do you get exp for finishing that? Like shadow rewards? If so thats a afk exp dungeon.

You're right about it being an afk dungeon... in a sense.
You MUST get at least 80 points to get exp for finishing the dungeon.
And you need at least 60 points to get at least 1 token for the food.
BUT
The food itself was worth 5.4k exp and 1.5k gold when i turned it in.
In other words since recipes cost 1k gold and i got 1.5k, then it's free money and exp...
But i'd only recommend this with the high ranked recipes, if any of them.

It's still better to DO the recipe, but hey, this is free. xD

The exp is better if you do the dungeon. Caviar gives you 150k exp at 80 points as well as how much the food gives you.

Could someone make a cooking dungeon guide including speed of doing it + exp + rewards? (There is a g11 guide but I don't recall one on the rest of it). thanks.

Fried Eggs - 12 minutes, 87.5k EXP - 7291.67 / minute
Sponge Cake - 14 minutes, 95k EXP - 6785.71 / minute
Salad - 16 minutes, 105k EXP - 6562.5 / minute
Seafood Fried Rice - 18 minutes, 115k EXP - 6388.89 / minute
Herb Garlic Steak - 20 minutes, 125k EXP - 6250 / minute

those are kinda wrong
you dont' use the whole time limit

basically, you MUST finish in the time the recipe tells you, not at the end of the time limit, for the best score

you only get mission exp for 80.1points and up

so like, Fruit Juice would be 80k exp for 5 minutes cooking.
That's 16k exp a minute if you get 80.1 points

I was curious about the cooking dungeons... if you accumulate some of those coupons ot buy things from Glewyas' shop, like the oversized, 2-handed tolling pin for example, do you get to take that into the cooking dungeon, and does it reduce protection on food?

sure you can take it into the dungeon, but it doesn't tenderize the food in there.
actually, if you go in the dungeon and look at the knife you pick up from the silverware, it actually is just called "Cooking Knife" not "Large Cooking Knife".
It's basically a Dungeon-specific drop that can't be taken out of or in to the dungeon.
So the only way to get it is to kill the forks or wait for glewyas to die.
I prefer the former first and the latter always since Gleways LOVES to knock a rat in such a way so that it'll fall into the red circle as you're about to kill it >_>

there goes my hopes and dreams. So aside from cooking-themed enchants, cosplay, or just the novelty of it there is no real point to getting the large cooking utensils then? If they can't tenderize, they aren't any more effective than normal weapons that are easier to acquire...

Large Rolling Pin:

Very Slow 2-hit two-handed blunt
29~55 dmg
29% Critical
12 durability

Bitter enchant:

rC Prefix, enchantable only on Large Rolling Pins.
+40 Max Damage if Cooking Rank 9+
+20 Min Damage if Cooking Rank E+

Vegetable enchant:

rB Suffix, enchantable only on Large-type Cooking Utensils
+30% Critical if Cooking Rank 9+

So a Bitter Vegetable Large Cooking Pin has the stats of:

49~95 dmg
59% Critical
20% Balance
12 durability
Receives 2h Smash bonus of +20% dmg and +5% Critical

It doesn't have the dmg of a Claymore (Jousting), but has more than twice the Critical. Yet to determine if the Large Rolling Pin is repairable, and if it's at a cheap rate compared to other 2h weapons.

That weapon is hard to acquire, especially with those enchants, since you need to burn them off and getting tokens is lame unless you're really strong and have a lot of time.

But the end result of that weapon is pretty good.
Just requires a lot of luck with burning and enchanting to make it worth the effort, for me.

The jousting claymore is also pretty hard to aqcuire, and isn't repairable.

A Delcious/Vegetable Large Cooking Knife would have the stats of 5-63 damage, 56% crit, 12% balance, 11 dura when paired with an Honest/Meat Cooking Table.

The weapons just seem a but sub-par compared to normal upgraded weapons that are easier to get. The Virtuous enchant is about the only thing that is truly worth going for, I think. 7% crit prefix for shoes compares favorably with Musicians... if the pricetag of the auction is too high, this could be an alternative.

So it seems that my dream of getting geared up with cooking items to give me an advantage in doing cooking dungeons (being able to start with a tenderizing weapon of my own from the start, and have it be a more powerful melee weapon) and spamming them for awesome exp is not to be. And unless the exp from doing cooking dungeons can be worked out to compare favorably with other ways of getting exp (like shadow missions) then I'm doomed to lack interest in trying. The g11 cooking dungeon gave me a taste of what to expect... mostly in the form of needing to run mana shield and have high melee skills/trans, so I can't imagine the harder recipes being any easier.
