ALSO, it is not fair how G7+G8 completion isn't counted in the Journal.
What gives? G1~G3 count!
It should count at least G8.
This angers me very much.

Haha i skipped G7. I hope it never counters

I like those ideas.
But what really caught my eye was the 1.8m exp quest.
Yes, please.
A town in Solea would be nice.
A port Town on the edge of the sea.
I dunno, I like the sound of it.
I wish it'd happen.
They should also just buff dungeons in that they provide clear EXP and Exploration EXP when you complete them.
But You'd want a mana tunnel near that town.
Plus, I like the idea of an NPC finally selling MP10/30s

basically what everyone said.
rafting gives good money / exp :D and it's fun!! (my main source of income)
and... i like to fish at the boat (yay es's)
and i go to par for the ambience but it needs to be harder please please.
hooray for weekly dragon drops / sketches
if you want to weave some thickies the sheep aren't far
metallurgy makes my ego happy
and i can double ptj per day yay.
also effie fixes stuff at 98%, nicca at 95%
flying mounts are put to use
explorer of rano title is awesome
and of course field bossing and expl woo...
i dont think iria is bad at all. it's quite practical but it just needs a little more pizzazz!! (less lag too)
i wish iria would expand the map so we can ride ships in the ocean and actually battle other ships. like age of empires xD i love that game.
@op. i thought it was funny that you listed all those pros to having iria, and then you call it useless :P

Iria's space to content ratio is what makes me think that it's kind of useless.

I must say, I did enjoy exploring Courcle the first time, but yes its mostly empty space, especially the deserts and the praire
Quote from Spartaaaaa;157030:
I mean, at least they could have included some music or something to make the long journeys less dull.
But then it makes it difficult to hear the *BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP* of your L - Rods.

But without Iria there wouldn't be the Iria chest event (which they should totally bring back...again)

Rafting, Exploration, uh.....anthell?:gloom2: Other then those things, its pretty empty.
I STILL vote for a T.N.N iria >3>.

I'm weird, but I luff Iria because it's so huge and open.
I guess they could make it better by adding little secrets and stuff that you could find just by walking around, not necessarily with l-rods, i dunno.
One thing I would be cool as hell would be if animals kind of roamed around, (and i don't mean just took a step or two here or there), kind of like the buffalo do in Physis, and if you came within range of them, they'd aggro immediately.... So like if you were walking around the savannah, you'd have to like be constantly looking over your shoulder to see if any lions were following you around, etc etc,
So like....huge open worlds with an occasional potential for danger, because I mean, like it is now, you can run around packs of lions with no worries, and that's just kinda lame to me, i dunno
i imagine you walking through the forest, and everything's peaceful, but BAM there's a huge monster that's angry at you and you have to run or fight
it'd make long journeys kind of perilous instead of just boring

This is how iria was supposed to be. And then the developers got lazy.

Long perilous journeys where you can't just afk walk remind me of the wilderness in runescape somehow.
I mean the old wilderness - the one from like 5 years ago when it was actually cool.

I personally think that Iria needs way more dungeons. Devcat missed out on having lava dungeons for Zardine and tropical dungeons for Courcle. Also, Physis needs to be used for something more.

Magic Ice lava dungeon created by entering that area in g8 with a snow crystal + flint in your inventory.
It's not like normal dungeons, you're warped there once you walk into the area with said items. Oh and it's underground at the area right between Vales and Zardine, and the magic irinid barrier keeps the ice from melting, and the lava from cooling. The boss is some sort of lava/snow golem that can use a weak version of fury of light.

Iria should have some establishments, like hunting posts or search towers with some generic NPCs that have shops so you could rest in them so it doesn't feel like you're just aimlessly wandering out there.
