I've got one that probably (and surprisingly) hasn't been mentioned in this entire thread:
Kobold boss names. Seriously, when I'm doing the quests, I can hardly tell who I'm supposed to kill to get what and why (particularly bad with the 'orders' quest). And now we're getting a whole bunch more kobold fights and their drops will be important to craft a lot of new equipment, BUT HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO FIGURE OUT WHICH BOSS DROPS WHICH INGREDIENT WHEN THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME? It's always e-something-och or so. Why couldn't they have been given some nicknames or something? God forbid you want to talk about a kobold boss fight that you find difficult or fun, you'll have to describe the bosses attack patterns/looks or nobody's going to have any idea what you're talking about.
people use the Battles tab to figure out the names of bosses because the first 'accomplishment' is defeating the end boss, with its name spelt clear as day

I also use battles to figure out which boss I should be fighting now, my problem is with the fact that the names are all so similar to begin with. It's not that it's impossible to know what to fight, it's that it's more complicated than needed, and people (or at least I) have to reference the same battles/vindictusdb entries/etc over and over because those names just don't really stand out from each other.

Don't worry >_> you're definitely not the first one who has had issue with the Kobold names. When I first started I had no idea what the heck was going on, and which E-something-ch was which, but eventually from all of my title farming, the names finally made sense and stuck >_> It also helps if you try remembering their titles rather than their names, like Robust Echeloch or Sturdy Emuloch, and so on >_> or even more fun to remember them by the weapons they wield. Ebeloches tend to use Slingshots with the exception of the Feeble and Constipated ones which like to use Battle Axe and Double Axe >_>
Actually... maybe they are really annoying after all 8D

Hate how Emuloch has different titles for two quests, Solid in one, Sturdy in the other, and each needs different things for titles (object kill for one, break off for the other) when they're the same except different titles.

I'm pretty sure you can work on the titles in both missions he appears, regardless of the boss' title.

Can't say I've tested it (testing is annoying when things don't update progress immediately), but the titles specify which title the boss has.

I believe what whocares meant, is that if you have a title for a specific E**loch, you can do it on that specific E**loch, wherever he appears.
A good example is the Speedy Ekuloch, which happens as it's own boss in a battle, and appears as a mini-boss in one or two other battles. If you have a title for him, doing it on any of those battles will still count, regardless of if he's the final boss of the area or not.

While what you say is true, I meant that either place the kobold chief appears, you can work on both of the titles. I pretty much exclusively got both the break off title and (made a lot of progress toward) the object title in just the counterattack map. Although, my Chief Killer title's progress is suffering because of that.

I can definitely confirm this. You can work on the Kobold Chief's shield break title as well as object kill title in both Kobold Chief's dungeon and Counterattack. I thought because if this, you should also be able to do the same for Black Scar (Gnoll King) because he has two dungeons in which he appears as well. However, that's not the case. You can only work on Black Scar's break and object kill in the Fleeing Gnoll King dungeon, not Gnoll King, Ruler of the Ruins. I guess that's a pet peeve of mine right there. The fact that things aren't consistent or uniform makes it a little annoying. I do want to note that the description of the break and object kill for Black Scar does specifically say to do it in Fleeing Gnoll King, so I guess it's meant to be that way. Either way though, still a pet peeve.

The Kobold Chief is the same boss in both dungeons, but the gnoll king changes between the two fights, which is the only reason that both dungeons can't be used for the same thing.

When I try to leave a battle using the /leave command in a solo game and I get the server overload error =_= I mean really? Why haven't they fixed this stupid bug yet? =( Logging out and in again when I could just restart at the dock is not fun ~_~
