I think they are, and thats why I love them :thumb:
Took out a room of 6 of the white gnolls just throwing them against each other :XD:
But this could be a problem in PvP:what:

Nope, I barely use grabs anymore.
First because there's no "Throw/Grapple Mastery" or anything like that. Which means after ranking Smash Mastery they'll be left way behind.
And second because a well placed smash attack can hit a lot more enemies. And they can usually be done faster.

I still like doing the "SPARTAAA" kick that you get when you Grab Smash an enemy near a ledge.
After a while, yeah, your Smashes will start to out-dmg your Grabs. Makes you wonder why it's there end-game.

I don't see how it is overpowered at all. Throwing Objects would kill the weak monsters as well. I doubt Throws/Grappels would be effective later on in the game in harder dungeons as the game progresses.
Also, you can't use it on bosses. However, you can still throw objects at them.

I grab and throw just about any enemy I can get my hands on. Of course, I'm also trying to get the title for throwing enemies 300 times for that one extra Str, and will probably stop grabbing enemies outside of smashing their faces against a wall and then dragging it through said wall. Too much Stamina and time is wasted from grabs.

about the only time I would grab is when an enemy gets too close

The best reason I see to use grapples is the ES moves.
If you smash the mob against a wall or object, your entire team gets healed for 100 or so.
Pretty useful when your team likes suiciding.

Healed 100?
And Yeah, Grabs get old, pretty fast.

If that's true, I had no idea. Neat.

Grabs only target a single mob and only work on monsters your size (can't grab spiders, jellies).
They also leave you open to attack especially when you have a long animation to go through.
My smash does more than a grab and has more range + less downtime.

To me, the only use of a Grab is to use the Invulnerability Frames.
I think they're there, and I just slam the monster right into the boss, so I'm ready to attack/guard.

Got that already ;;
Obsessed with doing that. 6124 overkill ftw :P
It's also going to make me sick because it's so cruel
And no, it's probably the best move in the beginning, but not later.
