  My personal opinion is, if a girl is attractive, people will want to know her (especially if those people are like me) sometimes, however, they will want to talk to her to "Know her deep down"
  
  The Latter might be a much rarer thing, but still, if theres hope.....

  Being loved/love is essential to everyone's development in my opinion. I can't quite say I'm an expert with love because I'm bad with relationship kinda. Love isn't just intimate relationship, you love your parent, you love your friends, you love your pets, etc. If we're talking about the intimate relationship it's not necessary for sex, though it's something that often come with those kind of relationship; some people really just care a lot for each other, and would do anything for them.
  
  Now personal story time I guess:
  I kinda fell for one of my friend (my bestfriend) even after we told each other that it was purely platonic love. I thought it was just a strong bond of friendship or something, until I realised I couldn't stop thinking about her. Even now I'm not quite sure what to think about it to be honest.

  I can't help but think of those guys who are best pals, but then grew to love each other, homosexually but didn't realize they had homosexual tendencies before.
  
  Sure, you can argue homosexuality is not a choice, but...

  I'm an objectivist and a misanthrope. I understand the concept of love but I've never seriously felt it towards another person.

  And of course there's still hope. People don't get together out of randomness, they do it because they care for each other.
  
  And it's love that drives you to do things in life. Passion, if you want to call it that, is a form of love, IMO.
  
  Passion for ideals, for what's right. Without that love, that passion, we wouldn't be here.
  
  My Mom came here because she wanted her kids to have a better future. I wasn't even born then, so she was thinking in advanced for her own kids. Love is real.
  
  People love a God, even if he's never shown Himself. The good kind of love too, not the "CONVERT!!!" kind.
  
  Like I said, just because you don't feel something for yourself (or you can't see it), doesn't mean it's rare or unreal.
  
  When I meet someone, I become infatuated when I start getting close to that someone. The physical is just one side of a whole new different person. It's important when it comes to preferences and whatnot, yes, but it doesn't compare to what's inside, IMO.
  
  Like a cake. It can look completely delicious on the outside, but if it's bad, it's bad.

  I don't have my psychology text book from high-school so I can't remember the exact wording, but it's been proven that homosexuality has a biological component in the form of a hormonal imbalance and I think some genetics. It's more likely to be biological for men than for women.
