I'm scared of time. I'm scared of getting old and not being able to do anything anymore. I don't want to run out of time, to not have enough and not be able to figure out who I am or what I'm supposed to do or what life is about.
It's not dying I'm scared of, either. It's aging, being old. I don't want to be like the seniors I see around town, bent and white-haired, with wrinkles and the usual signs of age.
I don't want to be like the billions of people before, just vanishing without a trace. Fifty years later, nobody will know who you were or care.
..
I'm also afraid of spiders and heights.
You?

Insects, would hate if they just crawl around on me.
But, I do see the importance in bees and whatnot.

Insects (though I kill them since I'm evil), heights (to some extent).
And the English class brainwashing term, rejection.

I'm afraid of losing friends too.
It's happened a few times in the past and it never seems to lose its edge.

Insects. All of them. Except maybe butterflies. And large spiders. And worms of the like. I hate tiny things that can crawl.
I'm afraid of getting to the point where I must have some sort of caretaker or machine in order for me live. God, kill me if that ever happens.
Umm... I'm also afraid of seeing the entrails of women. Men, perfectly a-okay. Regardless if it's real or not. And breaking small animals such as chicks or puppies.
Not sure if it counts as me being scared, but it seems like I reflexively move away from movement that is sudden and looks like it's moving towards me.

I'm afraid of... hmm...
I'm probably still am looking at my fear of that death pretty much erasing all traces of my existence, even from memories. And that nothing will change because of me, and everything will go on without me. But I'm starting to accept that as part of the greater law of the universe that makes me insignificant. Whether I will fade out of existence and effect on time, or actually by some crazy way, go to an afterlife exactly or similar to my Catholic teachings, it's not something I want to worry about, because I already would have lost my hold on this entity's sentient life. Maybe I'll continue deluding myself into believing an afterlife is better than believing in nothing for the sake of my inner peace. Heck, paradise of an afterlife probably is real just to mess with science.
Then there's, uh... height. I can't look down from the second floor of a house without feeling really anxious.

I'm scared of spiders and creepy crawlies.
I'm afraid of the idea of everything around me, gradually disappearing, until I die off myself.

Teehee. We still talk on Mabinogi and AIM, what are you talking about?
Anyways, I'm afraid of most insects and spiders, which my mom and brother tease me for failing to kill a minuscule spider or something like that. I'm not particularly afraid of the dark, but I prefer to sleep with some sort of hallway light or nightlight on at home. I'm afraid of the possibility of an apocalypse, and what I would do to survive in such a situation. Losing friends is a part of life, since we pick up new ones along the way, although it's sad to see the old ones be forgotten or let go.
