in populated/public places
what are your opinions on that?
I just find it awkward whenever I go by them <.< (and makes me want to go kick a puppy sometimes)
specially if it's all dramatic
(posted cause I started noticing these people more, like on Qilla beach, I was like "there's another side to the beach that NOONE goes to cmon D:, cause it had no ore frags over there)

I don't really mind, kinda seem fun sometimes.
But some people, like Kinessos or Lufar, are overkill.

*tosses a frisbee to XXX while dancing the electric slide and baking a cake*
'Oh XXX, this is so much fun, I wish we could stay here forever and have 50 kids named Tom Sawyer'
That's the gist of things I've seen from experience with RP, or trying to overpower themselves.

o yeah definately, - you do know those 2 are the same people right? LOL
I mean sometimes, if they're RP-ing something really cheesy like some demon that hates humans stuff, it makes me facepalm
either way I would've prefered it if was in a more secluded place if they had to RP (chat's meant for communication, and RP-ing sorta messes with my head dude xD)

i did something similar.
was tired and grinding and I had low pots and my weapons broke. so i said. "CAPTAIN! OUR SHIELDS ARE LOW AND ARE WEAPONS ARE AT CRITICAL"
My friend asked me if i was RPing a spaceship.
i was like "oops"

o I wouldn't say that's what I meant by RP-ing, it's more like people acting out a play or something on mabi

I haven't really noticed this in populated/public places.
...But what about in guild chats? :T_T:

I should try that next time, instead of my usual offering to the lag god that I occasionally do.

what do you mean? Guildchats are basically "private" though it may be akward for the members that aren't into that stuff o-o;

Yeah I do, Lufar gets pissed everytime I call him Kine.

I don't see any problem with it at all. Public chat is for everyone and maybe a secluded place isn't the right setting for their roleplay. As long as they don't randomly include me into their RP while I'm passing by, I don't really care.
However, if it was inappropriate roleplaying like cybering and stuff, well, that's just disgusting.

I don't wee why they should go somewhere secluded just because you don't like them. Free kingdom?

RP-ing isn't so bad to me. Some group was acting out some "Superman" scene in Tir Graveyard while I was training Windmill there.
Best 30 minutes of Windmill training, ever.

This.
If you really hate their RPing or are weirded out by it that much, blacklist them. :l
