I thought "Erg" was the sun...?
Erg is essentially the life-force in the world. It is a form of energy that powers life, and mana is an element of it.
@Arus I stand corrected, didn't double check my source before I checked.

Erg = HP, kind of.

Another example would be the Moon Stones in the Housing areas.
Wish we can forge equipment out of celestial materials though. Meteorite swords ftw.

Moonstone sword would be cool, but totally impractical. You're in the middle of combat when suddenly Ewaca rises, and your sword just kinda vanishes. Three hours of trekking later, you discover it floating 20 feet above the Dugald moongate.

So where is the "Sun" located? I never actually see it in-game.

I've never seen palala in the sky, only ledeca. Speaking of which, there was an event in Mabi KR where you could fish shadows of ledeca. Players could then create ledeca swords, shields, helmets and wands.

I'm not sure what the hell is up with the story of Heroes though. They seem to be trying to get to Erinn which, insofar as I can tell, they're already in, despite the fact that TNN was supposed to be the paradise.
You have it backwards. The people in Mabinogi always lived in Tir Na Nog. But they realized that paradise does not require another world, and they renamed the current world to Erinn to say that they are making their own paradise.

I'm pretty certain they were once in Erinn, but Morrighan brought them to the Paradise of Tir Na Nogg. This, of course, pissed off the fomors because the Tuatha weren't meant to be in the paradise. Additionally, they
think there is a paradise to go to (the legends of Tir Na Nogg) despite the fact they're already there, and the Mabi Heroes NPCs think Erinn, with two moons, is a paradise.
Tl;dr: Am confus.

That is, if the Humans in Vindictus are the Tuatha and not the Partholons.
I'm still not clear on that, considering some of the higher technology Vindictus era has over Mabinogi era.

Neo-Partholonians?

Ferghus is among them. As is Aodhan. Possibly more in Rocheste we haven't seen yet, too. Also, as I recall somewhere in Mabinogi the heroes that we can play as are referenced. You don't usually reference heroic deeds from your future, eh?

I highly doubt it's the same Ferghus and Aodhan.
Especially since this Ferghus never fails.

Maybe Vindictus is a prequel and it's before he injured his arm in a dungeon, oh wait...

I'm considering that the Tuatha race descended from the Partholons who lived in the north, so I can't agree with the Ferghus and Aodhan reference.
As for the heroes who are referenced, Legatus mentioned Lann, Fiona, and 3 other heroes fighting against dragons. Doesn't mention a specific time line though, so can't be sure when (or even where) to place them. So I can't be convinced from that, that they are Tuatha and not Partholons.
Also, Partholons came before the Tuatha, and got wiped out by a plague set by the gods.

Have you finished g11? They're still somewhat 'alive'. You can also fight them in some Rath castle shadow missions, not talking about the ghosts either.
