Celestial bodies surrounding Erinn?

  After the fall of Partholons, Nuadha along with the Tuatha came to Tara
  and so started the war between the Tuatha and Formors.
  
  EDIT : Humans, aka Tuatha's originally lived in Erinn
  But when the Tuatha's were starting to loose the war, Morrighan Betrayed(?) the formors and lead the Tuatha to Tir Na Nogg
  while sealing the path between the two worlds sacrificing(?) herself on the process. Thus the Formors were stuck in Erinn(the current Tir Na Nogg)
  With this event Morrighan began to be called "The Goddess of Betrayal" amongst Formors.

  The question is when does Vindictus take place at.
  Is it BEFORE or AFTER the switching of Erinn and Tir na Nogg.
  
  EDIT(2) : So Tir Na Nogg(now known as Erinn) is homeland to the Formors.
  Pretty good reason to be Pi$$ed off at humans IMO

  Does it explain how the Humans suddenly lost the technology of gunpowder (because going from Mine Bombs to Pickaxe is...)? Or why there was a few Humans dual-wielding when knowledge of Iria wasn't available yet? Or why Alchemy was available back then in such a time when the Shadow World wasn't discovered yet?

  But, Alchemy was supposedly Partholons' technology(they used the power of Caliburn)
  This Alchemistry became so powerful that the Gods actually made a move to destroy them and took Caliburn back.

  or maybe the Gods prevented such things somehow??? because guns are just too powerful???

  They just destroy/take away anything that can become a potential threat to their position.

  I never understood why gunpowder appeared in a prequel, but then just "poofed" from existence and history afterward. Literally, there's no mention of gunpowder in Mabinogi other than Lost Sahagins and Skeleton Squads (implicitly). Which is why I question why Mabinogi doesn't have muskets either. Is Heat Buster the closest we'll ever get?
  
  Other mention of "higher-end" technology in Vindictus:
  
  1. There are Chain Hooks in Vindictus. While not so useful in Vindictus, it implies an experimentation with using gunpowder in a portable projectile launcher. But, where are they now in Mabinogi?
  
  2. You can make Fine Leather from regulars with tanning. In Mabinogi, we have to... hunt. Hmm.
  
  3. Uses for acid for Metal Solvent also implies advanced chemistry in the works. Meaning better methods of welding, I think. Compared to Mabinogi's just hammering away.
  
  4. "Harpoon" gun for fishing. As opposed to fishing rod and bait in Mabinogi.
  
  You can see why I have a problem with Vindictus being a time line prequel (because that's the ONLY connection the game has) to Mabinogi.
