Personally I think the speed at which they're releasing updates is perfectly fine. I started about mid June, about mid July is when I started doing Generation quests and after reading the wiki on what was being release after each generation it really got me more hyped about the next one. I can't wait for Morrighan Demigod and Crash Shot, not to mention all the new changes they added in G13. I dont understand what people are complaining about here, when they update its not like the game itself really changes, they just add more content in for you to enjoy if you choose to.

Personally. It's fine. I am already used to it.

Yes, but will you love it when we have to slow down? XD
i don't have anything to look forward to past g13, yet D:
But i always have room to complain about slow updates in the future :D
But all those masteries I want in G13 should keep me busy for a while
As long as they uncap cooking further someday.
and some other stuff~
But i still want g13 to come soon D:

Us catching up = Nexon revenue death.
We find ourselves at a stand still waiting on KR, but maybe we get test servers as a result, so, I dunno, seems useless.

I don't see a problem with it, and yet I do. As Min Kim said, the faster we catch up to KR, the faster we can finally start having exclusive content, as in our own version of Nekojima. But of course, knowing NexonNA, they'll get their exclusive, but it'll be severely bugged and might break the game some how.

Global Maplestory had their own exclusive content and it didn't break the game so I don't think it should break the game for Mabi :3 Though the content was made in Korea...

No, I'm not talking about the content that's game breaking, but the transition over from devCAT will cause a severe glitch that will either allow something game breaking to happen, or Nexon screws up to the point where they have to remove the content because there are so many errors that the game itself is broken. Dx

I'm with the idea that it doesn't matter , either way your going to wait for updates? so whats the problem... wait 2 months for an update or 4 months for an update.... so what? god... I'de much rather be up with the Koreans... i knew this day would come sooner or later... I kinda like it this way.... people quit b4 anyways ... even when we do update quick so it cant possibly be TOO much content... and another thing i know people who are both still in g8 or .. just finishing it now... or people who finish it in 24 hrs.... most the points made in here are falous and i say let them update when they update either way, fast or slow...so people, give it up

The game is updating too fast when Nexon can't even properly handle an update without breaking the game.

But they were doing it when we were still doing the Seasonal updates too. :V

Whoever updated EU seems to have done a better job. Why couldn't we get them? :(

I think this was the worst they did so far though, all the new stuff was broken. Yet EU was fine...
Isn't EU mabi also in English?
If they both use the same translated update files for their servers + clients, what factor could have caused so many problems in NA but not EU?

That is the mystery I'd love solved, really. I can understand things being broken, I can understand delays... even though Nexon has never gotten a major generation patch "right" (though they did come close a few times)... but up until now they have had nothing to compare against. Overseas servers before now have gotten their updates at completely different times, and in completely different languages. This is the first patch EU has gotten since they copied our files to start (not 100% true, it seems they had differences from ours upon their release) that supposedly matches us.
We have clear evidence that not only can a generation patch be released without major problem, it can be done by a team that (as far as we know) are total newbies at the job. Just who or what is causing the levels of incompetence shown in NA?
