So the deal was: I could make a high quality picture within a week. Byte, knowing my lovely procrastination skills, knew he was going to win. This is the final after 6 hours (2 with breaks playing with my new kitten and then 4 straight hours) of work yesterday (Saturday). It isn't high quality *but getting there* and I like it. It reminds me of cuteness.

So post what you think. *And yes I am still working on it*:thumb:

everything looks like it is melting and it also has big fat soulless eyes that make no sense (among other things.)

Would you like to post the other things so I could improve. Rounded critique if you please. It is the first drawing I have made with my tablet.
To Mentosftw, no i was not. I was just learning how to use my tablet and Byte made me the bet.

Lol sorry about that but what are you trying to go for?

Everything, like Homicide said, is kinda melty droopy.
I'd suggest playing a bit more with lineart first before trying a sort of painted effect.
Sharper lines.
Pen tool instead of brush/spray/whatever-you're-using?

I was to making an anime girl with basic panda as her outfit. I was pose to make it higher quality. I have very bad procrastination skills and rushed through it. The background really isn't suppose to be the background, I just threw it in when I got bored of doing the six hours of drawing.

Cannot use the pen tool. For the life of me, I can't ever seem to get the lines to fit right with the image or whatever I am playing with. Get frustrated and quite. And I used a rounded brush. Mostly hard but sometimes soft.

.-. I'd advise lines. Never tell yourself you can't do this. Drawing takes years of practice and you can't be good at anything unless you practice.

Digital drawing is way different then doing regular pencil and pen and paints I've learned in the week I have had my tablet. I haven't tried doing the pen tool with the tablet and don't know how much easier it would be, or harder. I just know the pen tool and me don't agree a lot of the time. Wish we did.

it's hard to critique something when there is nothing right about it.
i'll just leave this here.

Yeah, it's different, but believe me, once you practice with the pen tool and get better you'll see much better results with your drawings.
They turn out more structured and less melty and soft.

sugarcoating critique gets people nowhere, just sayin'. ;V saying it flat-out has much more of an impact than sugarcoating it and being "nice" about it.
