With the current state of G12's issues, I do not think it will be released by the end of 2010.

I don't care. I'm still in G9 and I have other stuff to rank anyways.

Hmm, Its either going to be in 2 months or 4 months judging by previous generations. I think we'll get it in february but thats a butt load of filler Nexon has to fill in that 4month period.

I think it is actually very easy. They have always been doing it.
Purely my speculation here...
November: Let players enjoy content.
December: Snow events (sheep robe and whatever, and you all haven't had the chance to do the snowboard jumping - which is one of my favourite events)
January: Spring events (all the gachapon crap and whatever), new year event (the Tara festival event which most people like)

The two rebirth week option and free rebirth option don't allow for lower ages, for more dex/luck/AP or whatever. 50% progress is sure a lot of progress.
Well, Mabinogi has been designed so that people can play at their own pace and their own style. Some people rush through generation stories in a day or two, some people didn't even bother to start G9 yet.
They already sped up AP gain by quite a bit over the number of years.

Well, I suppose it won't really make too much of a difference to me if it's released then.
Although I'd like to just wait a bit, since if they rush it everything will be glitchy.

Don't care.
Unless Dragons are implanted that update as well.
Then I care.

I don't think g13 is a good idea yet. First of all, seeing as we'll have caught up to KR, that means we'll have to wait for a g14 to be created, THEN wait for it to be fully translated and all that other good stuff I have no clue about.
G10-G12 have hit us one after the other, and a lot of people are still doing their G11 mainstreams, getting the new skills, etc. I'm finished g12, but I'd like a bit of a lull to work on the new skills, save my bank account and work on my ego. And as far as I've seen, people are still getting screwed about with G12 and the patch all together. Factor in that barely anyone can survive Peaca Inter and you'll see that the majority of Mabi just ain't ready for g13.
Just my opinions~ =3

This complements my idea that major generation updates were thought for an old, high-leveled player base, which is the case of Koreans. See they release harder stuff and nerf skills because players' stats are just too damn high (lolquote)? This wasn't aimed to younger communities like ours, let's not talk about Europe...

Precisely! What I've been seeing a lot of lately is that uh... I don't want to say newbies because that sounds derogatory...
Low leveled players are rushing through generations without the foundations to be able to play properly which is why things seem to be so insanely hard. While they are supposed to get harder, I have a friend who's on g12 final and simply can't do it because his skills are too weak. I'm not saying not to do generations at a low level, but people need to take the time out to train their skills and become better players. This can be helped by nexon spacing out their updates!
Let players learn what skills to use where, let them rank their skills and become stronger and faster, don't drown them in new skills and items every month because they're 'bored'. Come back and tell us you're bored when you can solo a dungeon by yourself and you have the skills to be self productive instead of finding a vet to do all your work.
Speaking of which... I've got a bone to pick with all the veterans taking newbies as their 'apprentices' or 'students'. That would be off topic though and is therefore a no-no. =3

I don't think the problem with low-leveled players being unable to do g12 final is because of nexon not spacing out their updates. There will always be new players and even if nexon takes 2 years between each generation, the ones that come in at g12 will have just as much of a hard time. For this problem, it might be better to make it mandatory to do all previous generations before you can do the next one even if the storylines don't correspond. (but then, I don't understand how your friend can't do g12 final but he was able to do g11...or did he do it with an RA? Because that would explain it)
Anyways, I vote against this simply because I'd rather have more anticipation towards the next generation. I don't really want to get everything at once and then wait a year or two for g14. But then, NA Europe already has this huh.

Yeah, he used an RA. Basically any player, new or old needs time to work on newly released skills.

I like new content. Most people would. Where does it say that I HAVE to get this skill or I HAVE to do this generation when it comes out? That's what I don't get, people are like 'OMG I HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED G3' or 'ZOMG NEXON SO FAST I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED G9.' O-e Nothing is going away, g1-12 will still be here when g13 comes out so what? 2 months imo is plentiful time to complete a generation and have some yays with new content. A 4 month break between chapters is a great idea.
I heard that MabiKr is getting G13s2 in November and G14 in December. As for g13 I am looking forward to it, mainly because its more easy str skills to make my melee stronger without having to get r1 FH or r1 Carpentry, and I have time to get those 2 skills to r1 or a high rank. Sword Mastery and Down Attack I am looking forward to, also the new weapon system.
I just hope Nexon can fix the Ego exp feeding values and the other glitches this maintenance.

Yes, as for Adv Magic and Blaze, a lot is going away. Add new masteries, whatever, that's fine, but don't nerf the skills we have now (that's inevitable now, meh). This bothers me because I play as mage, now I have to invest hundreds of AP just get my damage back to normal? That's why I need some more time, it's not like I wanted to get skills to r1 the moment they come out, or even finish generation quests which I don't really care about.

Extra 50% progress for paying three times the amount is quite an overpriced deal, unless it is worth your time. Most people can deal without the extra stats from age 10.
I still don't think this is the right time for G13. I like the changes, just that the time isn't right for the community. New updates with dramatic changes will change the way people play.
