Well let's see:
Let's assume the value of Adv Magic is 1.
It gets nerfed by 25%, then G13 base damage is 0.75
We know that every 20 Int adds 1% damage.
In your example of 400 Int, that would be (base damage)*120%
0.75*120%= 0.9
With 400 Int you get 90% of Pre-G13 damage
You would need about 667 Int just to equal original damage without masteries.
Let's assume you have 400 Int AND r1 Elemental Magic Mastery
0.75*1.15*1.20= 1.035... that's barely 3% more damage.
550 Int (My current)
0.75*1.15%*1.27=1.095... that's 9% more damage.. SOOO a r1 Ice Spear would deal 328 damage. While with the current damage formula and damage, I would hit 335. Doesn't sound irrelevant D; It's ~3% less damage
As for Thunder it get's a little bit better, about 547 damage compared to the current 535, about ~3% more damage.
All in all this update sux for mages who ranked Adv Magic. Bolts will get buffed... they just want us to start using either bolt composer OR Third Tier magic (Which will drain EVEN more AP). It's not fair that we spent 1.2k+ AP in these skills so they just get nerfed and then we need to spend EVEN MORE in masteries and stuff.
