  should have said no, evie is not a dps class. she is also not restricted to support. its called nuke class, and evies have the choice, but i think tasha said it all :P

  I'm a spear lann though and I have a rl friend who plays staff evie, and I have to say fury infusion/heal combo is pretty legit. I appreciate it when random evies heal me too but I really don't expect it :)

  This is under my umbrella of "don't trust strangers if you want it to get done." Even if Evie could heal for free I wouldn't rely on a pug to keep my health topped off during a fight. It's unreasonable; the vast majority of players are focused on doing high dps or flashy combos and won't care about your health. And yes, most of those people are going Scythe when it comes out, so they're not healing you anyway. (Truth be told though that I like Evie as a party member more when they're support based.)

  I actually hate it when an Evie heals instead of attacking. Maybe when you're about to be killed and a SOS rescue heal magically saves you in time but otherwise it's plain annoying when your battle takes longer than it should've been.
